Hogwarts and greetings (there is 888 words this is your sign)

I walk around Diagon Alley cluelessly. Trying to get my last item. A new trunk. Diagon Alley was pact with 1st years and parents trying to gather their children.

"Shit!" I yell as a first year bumps into me. "I- I'm really s- sorry I don't mean no harm." The girl apologizes over and over again.

"It's fine. Just-" I start. "Leave just leave!" I yell at her. She scurried away. I get up and walk for another 20 minutes before sitting down in defeat.

"Are yo- you okay?" A boy with brown shaggy hair comes and sits next to me putting his hands on his lap.

"Yeah I'm fine just annoyed that's all." I respond. "Want some help?" He shoots the question at me

"Umm no thanks I'm just gonna use what I have." I laugh a bit at my response.

"Oh okay, well I'm Neville." "Neville LongBottom."

He shakes my hand and helps me up. "Clearwater, Cassie Clearwater." Accepting his hand and standing up patting myself down.

We walk and talk for awhile and then it's time for me to apparate back home. "Well bye Neville see you at school!" I yell to him. He waves me goodbye and in a blink of an eye I'm back home.

It's the first day at hogwarts and I sit next to Neville in great hall. Walking in was very terrifying everyone was staring at me I could feel the heat of their eyes burning my back as I got sorted.

I was very happy to be sorted into griffindor so I was with Neville. I stayed with him 24/7 and would never leave his sight.

When we were walking the corridor to head back to the common room after Neville toured the school with me. We ran into malfoy. "Oh if it isn't the new girl. Clearwater is it?." I nod in response to his snarky comment.

"C'mon." Nevilles says while grabbing my hand before Draco grabs my shoulder.

"Your quite good looking I may have wanted you if it wasn't for the fact your a gryffindork." He smirks that ugly smirk.

"Too bad I can't say the same for you." I shrug him off and grab nevilles hand again and walk to the common room in silence.

"Cassie that was brilliant!" Neville breaks the silence. He must have saw the confusion grow on my face. "You stood up to malfoy!" He screeched.

"So?". He looks at me like I'm a ghost. "What!".

He looks at me "nobody has stood up to him since third year when Hermione punched him in the face." I smiled and intertwined my arm with Neville's when we reached the portrait.

"Ohhh young love how I wish to have it still." The fat lady said . We immediately went red and said the password really fast and entered.

When we walked in a group of kids looked at me. I'm a person who can stand up for myself and my friends but I don't like a lot of attention so all these people looking at me made me nervous.

I stepped a little closer to Neville and put my face down and fiddled with my index finger.

"This is Cassie Clearwater guys." Neville introduces me to the people on the common room couch.

Hellos and hi's echoed the room in unison. I waved at all of them.

They introduced themselves there was THE Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione granger, Seamus finnigan, dean thomas, Luca brown (lavenders adopted brother) and ginny Weasley.

We talked and I sat near Neville not until now when Neville was talking when I realized that Neville was actually really cute not in an adorable even though he is, but he was attractive.

I look down seeing him turn to me. I look back up and smile trying to be nice and play off the fact I was staring. They kept talking and I got up to leave and go to my dorm because I was really tired and it had been a long day for me.

"I'm going to bed." I say to Neville before thanking him and waving the rest goodnight then walking up to my dorm which I found out I share with Hermione and a girl named Ashley and she has vitiligo which is a skin condition which makes parts of your skin a different color it's brilliant.

"Hi" I whisper to her since she was the only other person in the dorm. She turn to me and returns the greeting.

We talked for what seems like ever and I eventually felt myself drifting off. "Well it's good to know I have another friend other than Neville." I chuckle. "Yeah I know what you mean I transferred last year so I feel you." She responds.

It was nice knowing that I wasn't the only one either.

"Luca transferred at the end of last year so he's pretty new to Hogwarts as well. Luca is my best friend. He's really shy at first so he won't come up to you so you should go up to him. He's really sweet, but anyway goodnight Clearwater." I said the same.

Then I fell into a deep sleep.

Hogwarts is going to be fun I can already tell. I also knew me and Ashley are going to be very close friends.
