"Junghwan! Give that back!!"
I just went to the bathroom and left my door open and when I came back, Junghwan was already reading my diary. He runs out of my room and I chase him downstairs to the living room. He runs down the stairs with my diary on his hands and I try to grab his arm but he was too fast.
"Dear Diary, Junkyu has been laughing a lot lately. His laugh is the sweetest thing I've heard after drinking the cough medicine this morning—"
"So Junghwan!"
I try to get my diary from my brother but he just shoves me the closer I get to him. I step at the couch to reach him but Junghwan just runs away again.
"So Junghwan, I'm going to kill you!"
"Dear Diary, Junkyu just talked to me and I feel like floating in the air—noona, what the heck? You sound like a middle school girl."
"And you're beginning to get in my nerves!"
Junghwan just sticks his tongue out at me and continues to run around the living room with my diary on his hand. I swear, I'm going to get this kid.
"Woah! What's the fuss about?"
"Noona, likes Junkyu hyung."
"No, I don't!"
"Dear Diary, Junkyu is so cute—"
I finally had the chance to cover his mouth and I immediately grabbed the diary from him. Junghwan just laughs and I smacked him with my diary.
"I'm going to work. Someone needs to watch over the store," Dad tells us and carries his chisel before putting it in his vest.
"Please, don't do anything that will destroy our house."
"Okay, dad."
Dad leaves the house and I smacked Junghwan one more time and he scoots away and runs back to his room. This kid.
"I'm gonna kill him."
I go back to my room and lock the door in case Junghwan decides to come back. The screen of my phone flashes and saw a notification from Instagram. My face lit up when I saw Junyku with Jihoon and they were in his living room, playing video games. I double click the picture and put my phone on my chest then jump on my bed, giggling and smiling like an idiot. It's been ten years since we moved in our neighborhood. I remember seeing him for the first time. He lives two houses away in front of ours. I remember his cheeks were really fluffy and soft like a pillow.
As much as I want to stay in bed and wrap myself while watching Yeon Joo save Kang Chul on the rooftop, I can't. School starts next week and I only have a few days to watch Lee Jong Suk on a suit and a gun on his hand. He indeed looks like a webtoon character. Must Lee Jong Suk be this good-looking and charming? I don't want to go to school, obviously. But at least I get to see Junkyu and we can go commute everyday, and I can listen to music with him while I lay my head on his shoulder—
Ding dong!
The doorbell rings but I didn't answer it. Junghwan can go since I always answer the door while he plays video games with his friends online.
Ding dong!
I pause the video and open my door, "Junghwan, can you get that?"
He doesn't respond nor does he open is door. Seriously, can this kid make my day any worse?
I go downstairs and went to the front door. When I opened it, "Oh. Hi, Juhwang."
"Hi, Junkyu."
