Sarah sighed monotonously.
This ability was one only she knew. The Cortex's full name, Cortaxia was the final battle station of the Hydrona, and was long since abandoned. The hydra being it's only way of access.
Focusing her breath, she outstretched her hand towards a wall. A diamond shape formed in her hands. It grew and flew like a gunshot towards the wall, leaving a portal its swirling blue sparks of light lashing at the group, pulling them in.
You awoke on a platform, the once prominent whites, blues and greys of the walls now littered with unkempt vines. They glowed slightly against the lights lining the walls, each a different warm colour, war posters and screens lined the empty halls broken by the passage of time. Doors covered by vines or sealed by rocks passed the group as they followed Sarah. A console surrounded a glass tube. A small ball sat in the centre of the tube and it opened showing a face on the screen.

"Welcome back, Hydrona numbers 01,02,03,04 and 0——-5,"
The computer let out a loud static noise.
"It's always said a fifth was here no worries it's just broken," Sarah sighed. Nick looked frantically for a moment to ensure the place was secure.
"Well I'd honestly still trust a broken highly advanced computer over you anyways," Nick began reading the smaller monitor on the console.
