"Hey, Momo?"
"Yeah?"
"I'm hungry."
We both giggled. It's 2 am in the morning and only Momo and I are the only ones left awake in the dorm. The others must have been tired from the guestings and activity that we had this week. I mean, it's always kinda hectic when we have to promote a new song. We have to attend this and that, perform here and there, and so much more. During those times we barely get any sleep that even Tzuyu tends to fall asleep while getting her hair done. Ah I kinda feel bad for that kid. A little too much for a kid from a foreign country to experience all of the hardships since she was 15 if you ask me. That's why we understand if the other members can sleep for 12 to 15 hours straight, I even think we can sleep for 23 hours straight if given a total break from this exhausting field of entertainment industry.
While the other members are sound asleep. Momo and I are here wide awake, laying on our bed, legs tangled and having our usual all night talks or just staring at ceiling because I obviously can't play my saxophone at this hour. Just kidding, I'm never going to play that again.
"I'm hungry too." Momo answered.
"When we're you not?" I teased her.
"Yah, that's where I get my energy you know. It's hard to be the main dancer. It's kinda draining sometimes."
"I know that. You're totally great. You're the best. I just wish I was as good as you. It's hard to always get scolded by our choreographer. But whatever, I'm getting used to it."
"Hey Jeongie, you're a great dancer. Don't you ever think that you're not good. That's why I wanted you to have a special stage, right? Because I want you to prove them wrong. You're the best dancer I've ever seen." Momo said while cupping my face and squishing my cheeks. She looks at me with those big round eyes of hers. She looks so cute. You know, like Boo from Monsters Inc.
"Thanks Mo, you can let go of my face now."
We giggled again.
"Hey wanna go downstairs and eat?" I asked. Why did I even ask? Duh this girl will totally say yes.
And I'm not wrong. She quickly got up and left me to go to the kitchen.
"That pig." I silently laughed.
When I got to the kitchen, Momo is already raiding the fridge.
"Found anything?"
"Uhh..."
"Try the other fridge." I said. Yes we got two refrigerators. I won the other one from the show 'The Boss is Watching'. And we really needed an extra fridge. I mean we're nine, we need to store a lot of food. And drinks, you know like beer. I love cold beer.
"How about this?" Momo asked me.
"That's Mina's put that back."
"Why can't we eat it?"
"Are you kidding me? That girl is scary when she gets mad."
Then she grabbed another pack and I saw what it is.
"No. Don't you ever try to eat that."
"But why? I want to try these gummy worms" she silently whined.
"I bought those for the maknaes. Don't you dare touch it."
"You bought them a box of chocolate last week. And 3 boxes of yogurt drinks with different flavors the other day. You even let Tzuyu touch your legos. And you choke me if I steal a piece of French fries from you? What the hell, Jeongyeon?" she blabbered.
