My tears fell as I read the message from the gift I received while preparing for my wedding.
Memories of us Flashed back in my mind, remembering everything from the proposal to today's wedding.
"Love? Will you marry me?" tanong niya as he kneeled down in front of me, pulling out a diamond ring from his pocket.
Andito kami ngayon sa Tagaytay to celebrate our 5th anniversary. I never expected this to happen.
"Yes! Ofcourse!" I exclaimed as I hug him.
My tears started falling, seeing him so hapoy as he inserted the ring in my finger. Sobrang saya namin dalawa.
After 5 years of rollercoaster relationship, I am finally engaged with the person I love most.
Sobrang dami na naming pinagdaanan and this time, sigurado na kami sa isa't isa. We are both financially stable and ready to start a new chapter of our lives.
The date has been set, 1 year from today will be our wedding day.
He promised me my dream wedding kaya kailangan namin ng time to prepare everything. He was busy with his job but he was also very hands on sa preparation ng kasal. Such an ideal husband.
2 month before the wedding day, everything was already perfect, the wedding preparation, our lives and my relationship with Raven.
Not until last night,
Nagkaroon kami ng team party sa trabaho dito sa Baguio after having our team building camp. Last day na namin kahapon and today kami uuwi ng Manila.
The party last night was so wild and I got very wasted. Kumportable lang naman ako kase kasama ko ang bestfriend ng fiancé ko, since workmate ko si Chase.
I woke up this morning in bed and realized I'm naked and I'm not alone. But I'm pretty sure, hindi si Raven ang katabi ko. Before I could even react, the guy beside me woke up And dun pa lang nag sink in sa akin ang nangyayari, I slept with my fiancé's bestfriend, Chase.
We were both shock at whats happening. Then I remembered everything. I was too drunk last night to even recognize who I am with. And yes, may nangyari sa amin ni Chase.
He keeps on saying sorry kase lasing na lasing rin daw siya. We both made a mistake nang dahil sa alak. But it shouldn't be an excuse. I was irresponsible.
Hindi ko alam ang gagawin ko, nakatulala lang ako dito sa van. Thinking of what will happen after that one big mistake.
I'm getting married in two months and this sh*t happened.
It became very awkward for me and Chase, so humiwalay siya nga sasakyan sa amin pauwi ng Manila.
Pagkauwi ko, i locked myself up in my condo unit. Kailangan ko mapag isa, kailangan kong mag isip kung ano ba ang dapat kong gawin. I love Raven so much and I cant believe i messed everything between us up. Kahit pa lasing ako nang time na yon, dapat naging responsible ako.
As expected, after 3 days from that travel I started feeling sick. So I decided to contact Chase and told him what he needs to know.
Then, I texted Raven.

Nang mabasa ang text message ni Annika, dali dali akong nag ayos para maka punta agad.
Miss ko na Finacé ko dahil 1 week na kaming di nag kikita. And she's been cold after niya makauwi from Baguio. Ayaw niya daw muna makipagkita for some reason na hindi niya rin naman sinabi. Maybe ngayon matatanong ko na siya whats up with her lately.
I went to the condo and what she told me, broke my heart into pieces. I cant believe this is happening.
WEDDING DAY
Everything is set and we are already waiting for Annika, the bride.
As she entered the church and walked the aisle, my tears started falling again. Today is the day I was so excited about.
I am staring at the most beautiful woman in this place right now and probably the most beautiful bride I will ever see.
"I, RAVEN DELA VEGA, take you ANNIKA PEREZ, to be my wife. To have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, from this day forward until death do us part." I replied after she said her vows.
Her wedding vows, but not to me.
My reply but just a whisper.
I am here in front of them, sitting at the bench as I witness their exchange of vows.
I proposed to her exactly 1 year ago.
We prepared her dream wedding together.
He was supposed to be my best man, and she was supposed to be my wife.
Pero pinaglaruan kami ng tadhana. She is now in the altar with my bestfriend.
He ended up being the Groom marrying my fiancé in the wedding I prepared.
I love her so much but I cant let the little angel inside her grow up without her biological father living the same roof with her.
I think I did what was best for them, even if its the worst for me.

I whispered as I left the place to fix myself and get a life of my own.
