The Reason Behind a Mangled Soul

     As Error stayed with Undyne, they had to make sure Stretch didn't come near the lab and that he wouldn't start suspecting anything. This was a slight challenge, but Blue was on it. That didn't mean that Blue didn't make time to visit Error. He visited Error quite a lot actually. Undyne discovered many things about the destroyer in the meantime. Like how Error didn't seem to know what food was except for chocolate and tacos. 

     Error not knowing what food was shocked Undyne at first, but it made sense with how he looked like he hadn't been getting enough nutrients, if any. It worried her more when Blue asked Error when was the last time he ate and he didn't remember. But, it did calm her at the same time since it seemed Blue was focused on his friend's health. Error didn't talk to her much, at least at first. One day Blue decided to tell Undyne more about the multiverse. 

     Blue told Undyne about the Star Sanses and Nightmare's gang, like most of their misadventures for example. When Blue talked about the gang, Error would sometimes add his input or side of the story. Soon enough, Error would start telling of their own stories with the gang. But Blue didn't talk much about the Star Sanses around Error, since it usually made him uncomfortable. But sometimes Error would rant about stupid AUs that Ink, one of the Star Sanses, made though. 

     One day, Blue was talking about one of the members of the gang, Dust, another part of Error even Error didn't know was there himself showed. Error started teasing Blue about his crush on Dust. They may not have the best memory with social cues and the like, but he could tell Blue had a crush on Dust. 

     Eventually Thanksgiving came. Blue made Error tacos and chocolate, and made sure Error ate. Error had gotten a lot better. Error was still a little lost with their/his identity, but it was better. They actually told Blue a little about it. A little as in hardly anything, but they hardly understood it themself. 

     After Thanksgiving, it was time for Error to leave. Blue made Error promise to call him if anything happened. Blue only let Error leave after that. After Error had arrived in the Antivoid, he realized it. 

     Error hadn't felt a single pang in his SOUL while staying with Blue. Had Blue distracted Ink? No. Blue was too busy worrying over him and distracting Stretch. Error was confused. He was also worried. Was there something wrong with his SOUL? Well, there was plenty wrong with his SOUL, but he found it odd that he hadn't felt any pulling or pain in his SOUL in all this time. How many AUs had Ink made by now? 

     He quickly checked. ...No AUs had been made... ...He didn't understand... Wait. What if something was wrong with Ink. 

     As much as that squid annoyed him, he didn't hate him. He was also sure he would be the one blamed if anything happened to Ink. There was also the question of what would happen to the balance. Plus he was kind of worried about Ink... Not that he cared. He quickly checked the code of the AUs for Ink. 

     ...He let out a breath of relief. Ink was in the original Heaventale with Dream. It seemed Ink was busy so in the meantime Error decided he would make another puppet. ...But who of. He thought for a moment... Then he realized. He had made a puppet of nearly every Sans except Ink. Error thought about it for a moment longer, but shrugged. 

     And Error started making a puppet of Ink. He even asked Blue for a yellow star shaped button for one of Ink's eyes. He sat there, making the puppet. He wanted to capture every detail of the creator. Blue was a bit surprised when he learned that Error was making a puppet of Ink. Error didn't care at the moment. 

     He wanted to capture the creator's happiness that he didn't get to see all too often, being so busy and also being Ink's enemy. He included Ink's, surprisingly, not color vomit like Fresh's outfit outfit. Error even got that adorable- 'AnNoYinG' he corrected himself- ink stain on Ink's face. Error even stitched a smile on the puppet Ink's face, unlike his own puppet which had a frown stitched on.
