I sighed as I looked out and saw the lights. The orbs of lights zooming by. I see the city lights everyday and never appreciate their beauty.
There's tragedy in forgetting the beauty in everyday life when you're so used to it.
I regret it everyday. I regret not loving you enough. Breaking the promises that I had made. I hurt you.
I was ready to go.
I kissed my hand and then held it out for the wind of my city to say its goodbyes.
I went inside and locked the balcony door and before I knew it, I was leaving the apartment building with my bags and the memories of a relationship I failed to save.
