Love At First Bet (highschool AU)

"Horror!" Yoongi screamed.
"Why would you wanna watch horror at night?!" Taehyung screamed back.

In between all the screaming Yoongi's little sister walked in and turned on Yoongi's laptop. She wondered why he always fought for the TV when he had a wonderful laptop right here.

She ignored that and put Evil Dead on.

"There watch that. After that you could watch Avengers or even Justice League whatever you want." She said and skipped out of the room again.
"How are you older than her?" Taehyung asked.
"Just watch the damn movie please!" A frustrated Yoongi said.

Here was a grown teenager hugging himself out of fear and jerking every time anything slightly close to being scary happened. (By the way Evil Dead is scary and I know some of you guys might not agree but it has to be this scary for this to work)

Yoongi noticed that and wondered what would happen if he held Taehyungs hand. He didn't even think much about it and just did it. Apparently Taehyung didn't seem to notice but his hand clasped tightly around Yoongi's.

Yoongi stayed like that till the end of the movie. Taehyung had seemed to calm down a bit because of it so why bother letting go.

It wasn't up until the end of the movie when Taehyung let out a very relieved sigh that he realized what was happening. He was about to let go when the door opened and he immediately jumped and hugged Yoongi.

"Hey Yoongi, can I........." Hari didn't complete her sentence instead a huge smile formed on her face when she saw the position Taehyung and Yoongi were in.

"You know what never mind. I was gonna use your wonderful Wi-Fi connection but I'll just use mom and dad's room. Don't be too loud!" She said and shut the door.

Taehyung immediately let go of Yoongi and tried to hide the blush on his face. But his attempt failed when he heard Hari scream.

"Guys! Yoongi's gonna marry Tae! Tae's gonna be my uncle!"

This was followed by little murmurs of "lucky" here and there.

Yoongi couldn't even describe the amount of embarrassment he was feeling at the moment.

"Alright I'm bored." Yoongi said standing up.
"Oh wow, you are?" Taehyung remarked sarcastically.
"What an artistic sense of sarcasm Taehyung." Yoongi said rolling his eyes.
"Why thank you Yoongi."

"Hey Yoongi!" Hari said bursting through the door.
"Jesus Hari, do you not have a sense of privacy?" Yoongi asked glaring at his little sister.
"Oh please, you guys aren't brave enough to do anything. Anyway, I only came here because my friends are scared you'll die in here. So here's some drinks." Hari said and threw a bag at Yoongi.

"Alcohol?" Yoongi asked raising an eye at her.
"Yes. Don't like?"
"Like. Thanks. First nice thing you've done today." Yoongi said with a smirk.
"Enjoy it while it lasts." Hari said and walked out again.

"So Taehyung why do you never have fun?" A drunk Yoongi asked.
"You mean your definition of fun? What about you why do you always have fun?" A completely wasted Taehyung replied.

"Why not? My parents are never there and don't even care if I fail a hundred times over. It's sad that my sister cares about me more than my parents. It's for that exact reason that they buy our love. Funny right?" Yoongi said with a chuckle.

"Well that's sad." Taehyung, currently playing with Yoongi's hair and slurring his words said.

"I know right. Hari's only had three Christmases with them. My dad wasn't even there when she was born." Yoongi said and chuckled bitterly.

"Can you people stop talking about our sad life story, please?" Hari's voice sounded from the other side of the door.

"Sorry sis."

Taehyung didn't know how but he'd seemingly Made his way to Yoongi's lap, and he wasn't planning on getting up. Not anytime soon at least.

Yoongi didn't know whether it was the alcohol or the fact that the most handsome guy he'd ever seen was currently sitting on his lap. But he kissed Taehyung and he liked it.
