Strange Client ~Seulrene~

I went back home fuming. Why would my mom send him to spy on me? Is Irene okay? I opened my door and found my mom sitting on my couch.

"So you went out with that little brat?" I was so mad

"I told you not to call her that."

"Well she means nothing. I can hurt her you know. I can make her suffer enough to leave you. You deserve someone rich and not someone like her!" I felt my anger rising

"If you stay with her, I will make her life miserable." I stared at her in silence and felt defeat. I couldn't do that to Irene. I didn't want to do that to Irene. I decided to at least play along.

"Fine. I'll stop meeting with her. Happy?" I said I tried to sound convincing and thankfully my mother smiled and nodded not knowing that I didn't really mean it. I see my mom look down at her phone and then smile her wicked smile which meant she was up to something. I felt uneasy after seeing that smile. I went to my room and checked my messages.

My mom sent a spy to spy on us.

Irene

I felt confused. Is she just pretending to break up with me because her mom threatened me? That makes no sense. Why would she do this? I know Seul would never leave me, but I still felt a little unsure about this situation.

No one's POV

Seulgi's Mom meets up in a bar. She walks in and sees Park Bogum sitting in the bar with ladies around him. He makes eye contact with Seulgi's mom.

"What do you want?" He was drunk for sure.

"Oh nothing I just thought that you might want to have some time with your friend Irene." Seulgi's mom had a wicked smile on her face and Bogum began to smile as well after hearing Irene's name.

"Go on you have my attention."

Irene

I got a call from an unknown number. I picked it up.

"Umm Hello?"

"Hi Irene! This is Seulgi's mom." I froze when I heard her introduce herself.

"Hello?" I started to get suspicious of the situation

"There's a party tomorrow. Come to it or else Seulgi will get a beating. Wear something nice and pretty too." Before I could answer she hung up. I didn't know what to do. I didn't want Seulgi to be in danger and decided to go to the party. I texted Seulgi what happened.

Your mom called and told me to go to this party

She told me to go or else she would hurt you.

I don't know what she is planning, but be on

I went to my closet and pulled out the only fancy dress I had. I was scared to go, but I knew I had to no matter what. Before I knew it, I was at the entrance of the party ready to go in. When I went in everyone looked at me and not in a good way. I saw Seulgi and saw that she was talking to that girl from earlier and I saw her smile. She didn't even look my way which made me hurt a little, but I understood her plan. I wish she just made a little eye contact with me. My thoughts were interrupted when someone called my name.

"Oh Irene! You're here!" I turned around and saw Seulgi's mom smiling at me and behind her was someone I was afraid of. Park Bogum.
