Chapter 4: There's Something In The Fog

After an hour, Kai managed to calm his two younger brothers. Now the three of them were sitting in one of the aisles of the warehouse. He and his neighbor Wu, and his brother Garmadon along with his wife Misako were also in the same hallway next to Kai, as was Zane who was still hugging Pixal, and Skylor who was on the other side of Kai.

- I have never seen them so scared - Kai commented as he had his siblings lying on his lap on each side while he caressed both of their heads - I mean, I have seen them watch horror movies, but... I have never seen them cry like that. I also haven't seen Lloyd suck his thumb like that since he was about two years old -

- They are in shock - Misako commented - Just like us, but it's normal for them to be like this -

- It is the first time that we all experience an earthquake of this magnitude, it is normal for everyone to be scared - said Garmadon.

- At least as dangerous step - said Zane - And no one was seriously injured. It's what matters -

At that Skylor leaned closer and gently stroked Lloyd's back, who was wearing Kai's hoodie over his back, while Nya was wearing Garmadon's black coat. Kai saw Skylor's gesture toward his brother and smiled appreciatively at her, and she returned it.

- There is still no signal on the phones - Wu commented when checking his phone - Apparently we are cut off from the outside -

- I just hope and that the people who are outside are well and that they have found a refuge - Skylor answered somewhat worried.

- So am I. Many of us have families out there - said Pixal.

- Easy, I'm sure they will be fine - Zane assured her as he hugged her more.

At that Cole and Jay came with them.

- Is everyone okay? - asked Cole.

- Yes, we are fine - Garmadon assured them.

- What about you? - Asked Skylor.

- Yes, we are fine. We help where we can - Jay answered.

- And Morro, how is he? - Kai asked.

- His nose and the wound on his head stopped bleeding. They gave him some painkillers to relax and rest, but he was still a bit scared. It's the first time I've seen him like this, it's strange -

- Well, the important thing is that the boy is fine - Garmadon mentioned while hugging his wife by the shoulders.

- How are the little ones? - Cole asked when he saw his friend's younger brothers. They were both awake, but at least they were now somewhat calm.

- I'll go get some aspirin for the two of us in aisle 3 - Skylor offered as she got up from her place.

- Thanks, Skylor - Kai thanked her kindly as she smiled at him and left - By any chance do you have any blankets? I need to cover my brothers -

- Yes, there are some blankets in the basement - said Pixal.

- Pixal, come help us with some Stuff About yes? - Cole asked him.

- Sure - he said as he got up from Zane's side.

- I help - offered Zane to the rise too.

- We will go see if someone is offered something. Feel free to call us if you need anything - with that Jay and the others left.
