"HAWKS." One of his advisors entered the room, holding a stack of papers. "We need you in on an ongoing investigation."
"Investigation?" Hawks cocked his head as he read the cover page of the packet. "A missing persons case?"
"We've informed other pro heroes too. There will be a meeting held this evening at the location listed below. It's not required, but attendance would be obliged." His advisor informed.
__________
Hawks entered the small meeting room. Pro heroes Midnight, Eraserhead, RockLock, and Miriko sat in chairs at a long white table, along with investigators and police, including Detective Tsukauchi. Hawks quietly sat in an open seat next to Miriko.
"Now that everyone is here, I'd like to start by saying thank you. We're trying to keep this case on the down low, though many rumors have been spread around the media already." Tsukauchi began. He clicked a small remote, the slide presentation displaying a picture of a young female.
"This is L/n Y/n. A popular twenty-two year old stripper who went missing Monday evening. Estimated time of disappearance, 5:30 to 7 o clock p.m."
"How's this missing person different from any other case? And how come you need the heroes help?" RockLock asked.
"Glad you asked." Tsukauchi clicked his remote, moving to pictures of the crime scene. The heroes light gasped as burnt corpses were shown on the screen. "L/n lived with her parents. Often times, the neighbors heard them abuse and hit L/n multiple times a day. These are their corpses."
"Did L/n do that?" Miriko questioned. Tsukauchi shook his head. "We've been informed by Eraserhead that her quirk is not any sort of fire quirk."
"Yes. A student of my, Shoto Todoroki, recognized the woman once her picture was spread around the media. He says she was a childhood friend of his sister and brothers. Her quirk is apparently Glass Break, meaning anything she touches shatters."
"I see...so...where does this lead us?" Hawks asked.
"After investigating the crime scene and nearby security footage..." Tsukauchi clicked to the next slide. A blurry picture of two men walking from the apartment complex was revealed.
"...we believe this is the work of the League."
"The league kidnapping? Why would they go through the trouble of killing a family and keeping one of them to themselves?" Midnight snapped.
"We aren't sure, but we know the quirk in use was Dabi's. He cremated them to ashes. However, once they left the apartment, there is no sign of y/n being held. So we assume that this man, who's quirk can compress things into marbles, has her trapped."
"I get that we want to find this girl, but how are gonna do that?" RockLock badgered. "We can't even locate the League."
"That's where you guys come in." Tsukauchi grinned. "We know the league has to be hidden somewhere around y/n's area. If not, then there would be no reason for them to kidnap a random woman who lives in downtown."
"I see....So we just have to hunt them down! Easy peasy!" Hawks clapped.
"Let's come up with a more thorough plan, Hawks." Aizawa stammered. "A woman's life is at stake here. Besides, if she's been kidnapped by the LOV, she must be valuable in some sort of way."
