YOU WERE LOOKING DOWN...
as you assume Kenma was watching you play. But instead he shook you slightly. "Hey, (Y/n)."
"Hm?" He points at the school and you groan. "Dammit! I was so close!" Kenma laughs softly as you give his psp back.
"Maybe next time." He says as you two start walking through the gates.
"Where to first Kenn?" You ask your brother who sat at a bench.
"We'll wait for Kuroo first." You stare at him in disbelief. A small smirk was planted on his face.
"Kenma. You did not, you asshole!" He laughs watching you scold him quietly.
"Hey, you're not allowed to beat my highscore." He smirks slyly. You huff turning away but Kenma honestly couldn't care less. Though a few minutes passed by as you guys continue to wait for Kuroo. You were still trying your best to ignore Kenma, while he continues to play himself.
"Done!" Kuroo came running towards you guys, panting a bit.
"Okay now, can you bring me to the office?" You look at Kuroo still ignoring Kenma. He nods and starts leading you there as Kenma follows behind. He points at the door which you stare at. "Can you come in with me?" You look at your upperclassman who looked dumbfounded.
"You're asking me?"
"Yes you, who else would I be asking?" He tries pointing to Kenma but you grab his arm and drag him in with you.

Couple minutes later, you and Kuroo walk out. "Are you going to talk to me now?" Kenma stood in front of you. Though it looked as if you saw right through him when you didn't answer. Kenma went behind you and narrows his eyes. Trying to get your attention, he starts poking you. You ignore it, he tries tugging lightly on your hair. You also ignore it, he tries hugging you from behind. Which you continue to ignore, turning to your senpai.
"Where are we going now? Classes don't start till.." You look down at the schedule you were given.
"Less than 50 minutes. Let's go to the gym." Kuroo walks to the gym, you and Kenma following along. For a little while now, even though you were still ignoring Kenma. You still questioned, why was he at the gym yesterday? A couple years ago he was talking about a sport, but you didn't believe him since he was always on and playing video games.
"Kuroo, what sport do you play?" You look at him as he opens the gym doors. You look up to see someone dive for a ball. Your eyes glisten in awe. "Volleyball." You mumble pretty loudly. Kuroo nudges you and looks at Kenma. "You play volleyball?!" You abruptly ask your brother. Not even bothering to ignore him anymore.
"Is it that big of a surprise?"
"I thought you were lying!"
"Why would I lie about that?" You stare at him as he did the same back. "Never mind." He kept a poker face realizing what he just said.
"But still it's pretty cool. I got into volleyball too!" You smile brightly.
"Hm, what position?" Kuroo asks.
"Wing spiker, well outside hitter. My friend's been teaching me for a few years now." You smile, you really do need to catch up with that friend sooner rather than later. "Well, what position do you guys play?" Your eyes focusing on their practice.
"Setter." Kenma says walking away from you and Kuroo.
"Middle blocker and of course, team captain!" You playfully roll your eyes. Walking over to Kenma who was talking to a guy with a mohawk.
"Kenn, I wanna see you play!" You smile, seeing that the guy was staring at you. "Umm hi." You turn to him. He blushes and ends up whispering to Kenma.
"She's my twin, don't get any ideas. I already have to deal with Kuro." Kenma slyly rolls his eyes before looking back at you. "Well, introduce yourself."
"Oh right, I'm Kenma's sister, Kozume (Y/n)." You smile seeing him grin back.
"Yamamoto Taketora!" He blushes, it wasn't very visible but you could tell.
"Well, Yamamoto-kun. Nice to meet you!" You weren't very sure of how to start conversations. Especially with him, you thought it was kind of rude to stare. But you didn't say anything about that. "I uh, haven't seen you out on the court. What position do you play?" Before he could answer that, someone grabs your arm. "What the-" It was Kuroo. "I was in the middle of a conversation."
"You didn't know what to say to him, be honest." He scoffs as you look away. He saved you though, didn't he? "This is her." You stare at him for a second. This time you saw two guys, one shorter than the other. You wave as you look at both of them.
The shorter one walks around you, practically examining you. You tense up a bit, hinting that you were getting uncomfortable. "That's enough Yaku, you're freaking her out." The taller one explains as the shorter stops in his tracks. He looks you in the eye. Very cautiously, you look back and saw him smirk.
"Maybe." He spoke, no hesitation. Just maybe.
"Maybe?" Kuroo pouts. "Why maybe? Why not yes?" The shorter stood quiet as he continues to examine you. But he was mostly looking into your eyes.
"She's pretty. But how's her personality?" He pauses, before you could actually talk to him. You were cut off.
"She's Kenma's sister." Kuroo interrupts, making the shorter's eyes light up. While the other looks at the three of you, amused.
"I approve then!" He smiles, approve was the only thing you could wonder. Approve. What did he mean by that? You stare at a certain part of the gym floor for a while. Before you saw a hand waving in front of your face, you shake your head and look up.
"I'm Yaku Morisuke, your senpai!" He looks into your eyes again. "You're Kenma's sister. Right, Kozume-chan?"
"Y-Yeah, Kozume (Y/n)." You nervously scratch the back of your head. "So, what do you mean by approve?"
"Approve, meaning I approve of you bei-"
"Chibi, you should introduce yourself to rest of the team." Kuroo chimes in again, looking at the other guy.
"Nobuyuki Kai. Your other senpai." He smiles before looking over and motioning to Kenma.
"Nobuyuki-senpai, Yaku-senpai, nice to meet you!" You laugh softly, watching Kenma make his way towards you guys.
