The United States Navy Sea, Air, and Land (SEAL) Teams, commonly known as Navy SEALs, are the primary and a component of the United States Navy. Among the SEALs' main functions are conducting small-unit special operation missions in maritime, jungle, urban, arctic, mountainous, and desert environments. SEALs are typically ordered to capture or to kill high level targets, or to gather intelligence behind enemy line.
The Navy SEALs are organized into Naval Special Warfare Groups. Split between the East and West Coast. With over eight teams active, there's one unit that is the primary Tier 1 Unit. Seal Team Six or Naval Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU) is the unit that performs the most complex, classified and dangerous missions. DEVGRU is divided into Military Alphabet-coded line squadrons. They specialized in counterterrorism, hostage rescue. special reconnaissance and direct action, often against high-value targets.
Failure isn't an option for the Navy SEALs, and that kind of pressure can take a toll on the members of the special operations forces' most elite unit. Bravo Team.

This team -- which includes Jason, the group's intense leader, and Ray, Jason's longtime confidant, along with loyal soldier Sonny, first female SEAL member Ainsley, the team Medic Trent, K-9 handler Brock and SEAL hopeful Clay -- trains, plans and executes some of the most dangerous, high-stakes missions and deploys for clandestine missions around the globe at a moment's notice.
While serving their country is a worthy and rewarding cause, it can put a strain on the SEALs and their families, causing the team to look out for one another in the face of seemingly overwhelming odds, both on and off the job.
