Wake up. Brush teeth. Breakfast. Stock market. Eat more. Nap. Wake up. Stock market. Eat. Brush teeth. Bath. Sleep.
Repeat.
Occasionally her university pal would either call or text her when she felt chatty, which was how Hecate had her right ear ringing after she picked up her phone and her pal's volume was too loud.
"I can't believe you didn't tell me you were on a Sidemen vid! How could you? I thought we're BFFs." Hecate shifted her phone to the left and rubbed her right ear, eyes squinting with the buzzing in her head. "What's a Sidemen vid?"
"Wha... what's a Sidemen vid? What's a Sidemen vid. Are you bloody serious. The one that you're on a date!"
It took her a while to recall the on-camera date with Ethan a few weeks ago. She had not really bothered to search who did the video nor find the video itself. It was partially her fault of not understanding the details of the filming before she agreed. Plus, she had not had the knack of keeping up with social media except anything from the financial market. A oddity she was, she admitted that. Her friend Vivianne would have had her eyes focused on social media twenty-four-seven if it were not for her job at the museum and that humans need rest. She assumed the video just went up today.
"Just search Sidemen and you'll find the video. Don't forget the comment section, you'll be surprised." Vivianne giggled. "Anyway, how's my good ol' pal doing these days?"
"Nothing special. Just the usual." She clamped the phone between her ear and shoulder, went to the kitchen and poured herself a cup of water. She must have been too focused on the stock number to ignore her chapped lips. "What about you?"
"Some group of primary kids came to the museum. They were surprisingly eager to learn! They were by far the best bunch of kids to look after - they don't scream and touch the displays!" Hecate smiled at the enthusiasm from her. Her positivity never seem to disappoint her.
"Nearly home now. Text you later short stuff!"
"K'. Bye." She hung up the phone and placed it on the kitchen counter, taking a sip of her water. In all seriousness, it has been a while since she had a major interest in certain things, being the video she participated in and the group behind it.

Poor, poor Ethan. He had gained her sympathy. He seemed liked a good man, though his colleagues... friends had made him act like a douche bag, but props for the one who thought of the idea, and how willing Ethan participated, it was entertaining. She recalled he did caught up with the others after the shooting was finished, while she quickly left the studio, wanted nothing but lay down on her bed. She had not been with a group of people that long her social energy had dropped bottom right after she was finished with it.
What surprised her the most was the comments on her - saying that she took the insults very well, interested of her background, not being able to find her in any social media account...
She had not expected the attention she gained through one video. Although her identity still remained anonymous, she was panicking.
Worse than waiting for a university offer.

"It has nothing to do with what you think. It has to do with your attitude. If your attitude is shit, then you wouldn't get far. You can't get anything done if you don't have a goal and go with it."
She huffed. It would just ended up as same as the others activities she attempted to pick up, only to throw them into a bin and forever forgotten. Yet the words Ethan had said to her still lingered in her mind.
