Chapter 5

That night in his room, Marvin was still thinking about some people's responses about the content with Mr muh, which was his dad. It looked normal, but he did not think people would like that simple content more than music, podcasts, and other content on his YouTube team's channel.

Marvin finally thought of trying to find his own career, he ventured to create his own YouTube channel, he decided to create random and collab content with his dad. The years changed so fast. 2019 had been passed and changed to 2020.

Since early March, marvin just stayed at home, usually every week he and his team held a meeting to think about content, now he couldn’t no longer do it. Without procrastinate, marvin also uploaded his first video on his YouTube channel called “Marvin”.

His first video was entitled "Sahur Hari Pertama", at first he was afraid and hesitant to start, but he believed the effort will not betray the results as long as he was focused and consistent.

Less than 7 months, his first content on YouTube had reached 1 million viewers, and the subscriber had almost reached the 1 million, he was excited to create the latest content.

Hearing that Marvin's career was improving, and the meeting was so rarely. Then she questioned Marvin about this. "Did you have created your own channel now?" asked Calista.

Their talking via phone sounded awkward. "Yes, that’s right, I wanted to stand alone and determine my own career" replied Marvin. "what about our team?" Asked calista again. “Forgive me, actually I always wanted a career in the entertainment world, but I always doubt and failed to find ideas, after meeting with you it was really opened my mind, thanks to you, I wanted to try, so I decided to leave this team.” explained marvin with a heavy heart.

"were you sure?  What if your career slumped?.”  Asked  calista. "I was ready no matter and one more thing I actually liked you, I had no idea when this feeling arise, the point was seeing you every time was really tortured, besides that I knew that you already belong to someone else." explained marvin.

He was afraid that his words would hurt Calista, but he didn't want to lie any longer.
"That’s okay, I respected your decision. By leaving this team, to be honest  we felt loss, but I pray that our career will always be successful, never forgot me and the others" said Calista. "Okay, thanks for everything ta, I woudn’t forget this team". Marvin turned off the phone.

This was the toughest decision he had ever made, becoming an actor was not his goal, even though his hobby was singing, and he had been a star in his time. But who knows that his career was now expanding rapidly, he still did not expect that now he became a fairly well-known YouTuber, having nearly 2 millions followers in less than a year.

In the past he was just an ordinary marvin, but now he is through his personal YouTube and is able to collab with other well-known artists. A career that he never imagined before, but now has become a reality.
