Chapter IV

-Mark-

*present day*

Mark was already in Seoul now... He just arrived with Lucas and went to their headquarters... Mark didn't knew what was happening. He just knew he has to be ready fo this mission... he really hoped Taeyong won't get mad at him for not declining the case..

but Taeyong is Taeyong... He still believes because of him, Mark got the bullet in his heart and made him the weakest where he was the strongest.. He still curses himself for not protecting his younger brother... and now he just can't take the thing that Mark wants to join too, with his weak heart. he can die anytime if he does something too hard.

Taeyong was so into thoughts that he didn't even noticed Mark was there, standing right infront of him, smiling like a kid.

"don't think too much, hyung. you brain will burst"

Taeyong broke the chain of his thoughts and look up to see the little boy he adored the most.

"Mark.." he stayed still..

" Hyung, won't you give me a hug at least!?? its been so long!!" Mark said spreading his hands both sides.

Taeyong got overwhelmed seeing him like this. He started to cry with a smile and immediately hugged him tightly.

"yah- you have any idea how much I missed you!??" Taeyong was crying on marks shoulder..

no matter how much strong and intimated he looked, he was a soft big boy inside for Mark and his members. he always tried to keep his every members safe...because they were his family... a giant happy family.

"H-hyung, I'm getting o-out of breathe. you're hugging me too t-tight!"

Taeyong released him and take a look at him.... He was so happy that he almost forgot the fact that Mark has to join again.

"are you fine!? is everything fine in there!?" Taeyong pointed his index finger towards marks heart...

"yes yes. I'm totally fine. it hurts just a bit. just a bit." Mark replied as they sat on the couch in Taeyongs room.

"you are taking care of yourself, nah!??" Taeyong was genuinely worried for him...

"yes, hyung...I am... forget about me...tell me about you too... how are you doing!? is everythings going fine!?" Mark asked him.

Taeyong got sad after remembering what actually was happening around the SM.

"everythings fine.. everyone is doing a great job too..."

"Hyung, you are taking stress again... why are you so stressed about this case!? we can do this you know!!" Mark assured him.

"I am just worried about you... all the stress I'm taking because of you...Mark, really, I can't take the pain of losing you... you know how much you mean to me!?"

This made Mark more sad.... Taeyong is doing everything to keep him safe and he can't even do one thing to please his hyung.

"Hyung, look, I am not a kid anymore...let bygones be bygones.. I'm 25 now... I was 19 years old when this happened but now I know what can we do to success the case" Mark replied.

"I know Mark but tell me, will your heart get fine again!? Can you be the strongest like before!?? Can you run 2x faster than me!?? Can you handle an ammo without shaking your hand!?? NO!!"

"how we gonna be sure if we don't even try a bit!? Taeyong hyung, its all about trust. don't you trust me a bit!??" Mark put his hand on Taeyongs shoulder.
