I was dancing with Jacob. When Katelyn and her date Jacob Latimore approached us. Katelyn looked and began to open her mouth.

" Daniel at 6 o'clock ", she whispered yet only I could know.

I turned around and see Aaliyah and Daniel sitting down. Daniel is holding his phone and looking at me, Aaliyah was just talking and looking in different directions. We began to really dance, I started to act freaky with Jacob.

" I think it's working..", I whispered to my self.

" Jessica Lets go get a something to drink", Jacob said pulling me to the punch bowl while walking pass Daniel. He thought he was slick trying to touch my butt, but yet he ended up hitting Jacob. Jacob had the feeling he was going to do that so he protected my side where Daniel was. Daniel looked so stupid... Until Jacob was ready to fight him..

" Yo, Dude keep your hands to your self!", He yelled at Daniel.

" I am keeping my hand to my self and something that deserves to be mine and not some random Mexican wanting to be Black..", Daniel spoke feeling confident.

" Who is she at prom with though?", Jacob questioned Daniel. Daniel looked at me sadly then looked down. He looked ashamed about his horrible choice between Aaliyah and I. Even through how bad he treated me I still love him.. But I'm starting to grow Emotions for Jacob..

" See! She wants me but not you..", Jacob said grabbing my hand.

I felt like a puppet, I couldn't help myself right now. I couldn't say no until Aaliyah came over.. I just let it all out..

" what's the problem Danny?", She asked him while touching him and looking at me evilly.

Everyone ignore her..

" let's go Jessica", Jacob said pulling arm. But I refused to move, I will not live a lie on my senior night.

" No! I made a mistake.. I shouldn't asked you out to prom knowing Daniel loves me and wanted to take me..", I spoke closing my eyes then opening them. Daniel lifted his head slowly.

" Really Jessica?", He asked me chocking on his words.

" yes really.. I just want to know why?", I asked.

" why what? ", he asked me.

" why did you pick her..", I spoke pointing at Aaliyah.

" I don't know but I'm sorry... I love you..", he said making me smile.

" I love you too..", I said smiling really hard.

" will you be my prom date?", he asked me making Jacob and Aaliyah jealous of both of us.

" heck Yeah!", I said making him laugh at my corny version of profanity.
