Chapter 1 - Help Wanted

Your POV: It was a lukewarm morning on the island, I could hear the sound of distant birds chirping mixed in with the occasional helicopter flying above. It was generally peaceful in Holly Hedges, there weren't that many people around, this place was on the outskirts or the island. Weeping Woods is fairly close, sometimes I liked to venture out and explore the vast forest, while taking in all that fresh air and the pretty sights. Though today, something was different. Ever since the war between Ghost and Shadow started, I've been noticing strange things pop up around the island. The old shack nearby Weeping became an outpost for Ghost, while another above Holly turned into an outpost for Shadow. There was also that massive Ghost headquarters now right in the center of the island. I've seen posters everywhere depicting a man with gold skin and a white tuxedo, with the words "JOIN GHOST" written on the bottom. I've been considering joining Ghost, but I never knew what would be in store for me and if I'd be able to handle it. As I spot one stapled to a nearby tree, I walk over and stare at it for a second. "Is this really a good idea?" I thought to myself. After a bit of hesitation, I gently remove the poster from the tree, and read out the location written on the back. "The Agency huh?" I said to myself. "...Might as well try it." I start to head back to Holly Hedges to prepare for this "job interview". As I got in through the front door of my house (The grey one), I noticed a small package with a golden ribbon on the living room couch. I pick up the small box, remove the shiny golden ribbon and open it. There's a small note inside with "Introduction" written on the top. I read the note, "Greetings, it is pleasant to see someone take interest in joining our team. We are GHOST, we are an elite team of agents with the mission of securing the island and making it a better place to live, we hope to see you soon". at the bottom of the page, there was a signature of a single "M". I set down the paper. "Wait... how did-" you pause for a second as you hear the sound of a choppa' nearby. You stepped outside as you saw the choppa' land in a nearby field. Two people in white suits and masks stepped off of it, and proceeded to make their way towards Holly Hedges. "No way... That can't be them right?" I quickly look at the poster again, "It has to be" I said to myself as I ran back into the house and went upstairs into my room. I scrambled to get something remotely formal on as I occasionally looked out the window and saw the two getting closer. It wasn't long before I heard a knock on my front door. I practically fell down the stairs due to how much I was rushing. I walk up to the door and open it. There stood those two people that I saw not that long before. "Are you guys part of Ghost? Also how'd you know where I live?". The three of them stared at each other for a moment. I look down at one of their badges. "Henchman 164? Oh yeah, definitely them." I thought to myself for a moment before I see one of them pull out a walkie-talkie. "Hey Midas, is this the guy?" As one of them say this, I hear a man in a deeper sounding voice respond. "That's him." The two henchmen look at me for a moment. "Do you guys want me to come wi-" "Well that's what we came for." Henchmen 164 replies in a sarcastic tone. The three of us begin to make our way back to the choppa'. "Hang on, ok?" I nod my head in response. The propellers start to spin and we are quickly lifted off of the ground. We were now on our way to The Agency.
