The Audition for Princess Jasmine

Hello and welcome to my very first story written on Wattpad. I have written before but only for fanfiction.net. I have loved some of the fictions out there on this platform. But this my own version of what I love to do in real life. Theatre. 

Because I'm missing Theatre life, I have decided to put my two loves together. Theatre and Harry Potter, but in real life. 

Scarlett Ann is my own creation and based her off what I would have loved to have done if I only put my heart and mind to this industry.

So here we go on an adventure through rehearsals and live theatre to celebs and romance and heart break and drama. I hope that you will enjoy this journey. I have written this at the start of lockdown 2.0. Even though I am still at work, this is keeping me sane and my mental health going.

I have been constantly listening to the Aladdin The Musical and the Movie soundtracks constantly to keep alive what I want to convey to you all in the life I'm missing.

"A whole new world

"Thank you, we will let you know if you have been chosen for your auditioned part."

Phoebe walked out of her audition for another re-run of Disney's Aladdin which was going back onto the West End, after another successful run around the UK and Ireland.

She smiled at the Producers, Director, Choreographer and Musical Director. As Phoebe was the last person to audition, she walked out to a quiet reception area at the famous Pineapple Studio's.

Phoebe headed out to meet up with some of her friends that were currently finishing rehearsals for their various new roles that they had got parts for. One of her friends she was jealous of as she got into Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. She auditioned for being one of the ensembles, but her friend pipped her to the finishing post. She was put on a reserve list to be on a first recall for any other audition that they would hold.

"Hey Shannon, how was Cursed Child rehearsals?" Phoebe asked as she met up with her friend in the famous café on Shaftsbury Avenue, The Theatre Café.

"Not too bad, it's just making sure that everything runs smoothly. I've been learning the Wand Dance today, tomorrow it's the Staircase Ballet." Shannon replied after having a sip of her cappuccino.

"Oh, I've just come back from another audition for Aladdin. I'm very doubtful that I would get the part. But it would be very nice to get a main lead for once. But they haven't announced who is playing the Aladdin and the Genie yet. But may hear when the first rehearsal is called when all the cast meet for the very first time." Phoebe headed over and ordered a tea and muffin.

"It would be nice to see you back on the West End. It's been a while since we have seen you back on stage. Mamma Mia was the last time." Shannon took a bite of her donut.

"Yeah it would. I'm doubtful though but hey let's see what happens they should call by the end of the week as the rehearsals start on Monday back at Pineapple Studio's."

"Well I have my fingers crossed for you Phoebe. Let's see your face and name back in lights on the West End."
