Rehearsing A Whole New World

Scarlett was released from the hospital the next morning. She headed back to her flat and got straight into the shower and washed the grime from the hospital away. She was in the shower for more than ten minutes. Her phone was constant buzzing and ringing, but Scarlett didn't know this as her phone was in the kitchen charging away.

After her shower, she had put on her clean gym gear and repacked her bag and then started to head back to the Pineapple Studios. She wasn't going to miss another day of rehearsals because of her ex that was released from jail the previous week. She was going to the local Police station after rehearsal so that she could file a restraining order against him.

Rehearsals for the ensemble was in full swing. They were learning Prince Ali. The rest of the principle cast were in another studio rehearsing their lines. Scarlett headed into the room and put her bag down.

Cameron looked to see who had just entered the room. He walked over to Scarlett.

"Hey Scarlett, are you ok? We were worried about you. It's not anything too serious I hope?" Cameron asked.

"No, it isn't. There is nothing to worry about. I just collapsed that was all. I'm fine so I'm here let's things started." Scarlett picked up her script and started to go through the current scene.

Tom and Dan were busy rehearsing Prince Ali with everyone. They paused for a quick break.

"Have you heard from Scarlett?" Tom asked taking a drink of his water bottle.

"Nope, I tried calling her this morning, but I got no answer. What about you?" Dan replied.

"Nope, I've called, messaged, Facebooked and Face Timed her and I got nothing." Tom carried on drinking. They then were called to do Prince Ali again.

Scarlett walked into the studio as she needed to be fitted into Prince Ali.

"Make way for Prince Ali

Say hey, hey, hey for Prince Ali

Say hey." The ensemble started to sing.

The dance was in full swing when Cameron, Marcus and Tanya started to fit Scarlett in at the front with her aide off to the right side.

Tom and Dan were dancing in the middle with the ensemble. They didn't even notice that Scarlett had turned up and was stood watching them dance away. At the end of the number, she was told to huff and turn around and walk away. Her aide running after her.

"That's good Scarlett. Right let's move on. Daniel, Scarlett let's do A Whole New World." Marcus asked of them both. "We then need to start running Act2. Then hopefully we can start running the whole show. Right then let's get this going then. Start where Aladdin comes in."

Scarlett turned around to see Dan stood there.

"If I go with you. Will it be safe?"

"Sure, do you trust me?"

"What did you just say?"

"Do you trust me?"

"I'm not sure why, but yes."

Dan held his hand out to Scarlett and helped her and stood next to each other then Daniel started to sing.

This was the first time that they had performed the song in front of the rest of the cast and ensemble. Dan was a little nervous, well they both were nervous.

Scarlett was looking into Daniel's eyes when she knew that she was falling in love with her Aladdin in real life. The cast started cheering and clapping when they had finished the song.

"Beautiful from both of you." Marcus and Cameron were happy with what they were seeing.
