I logged onto Hypixel thinking it was going to be a normal evening, I had had a long day and just wanted to let my rage out onto some bedwars players, but boy was I wrong. I selected bedwars duos and was teleported into the lobby. I watched the timer with anticipation as it ticked down from 10.. 9.. 8.. 7.. 6.. 5.. 4.. 3.. 2.. 1, and with that I was teleported into the map with my randomly selected teammate. As I backed up into the generator I checked to see my teammates name, masonPotter. I had never heard such an attractive name before, it sounded like Harry Potter, but cooler. I checked his skin, it was a generic Steve skin, and to my surprise I also found that attractive. Was I falling for masonPotter? Before I had time to answer my own question, a message popped up in chat, it was from masonPotter, my heart fluttered upon seeing it. "Hoo is proteking" it read. I quickly typed back, not wanting to leave masonPotter in anticipation. "I can" I replied, and with that masonPotter ran off and away from base, The enchanted blue leather cap causing his eyes to sparkle with beauty. I quickly purchased some blocks from the shop and placed them around our blue bed. The last thing I'd want is our bed being destroyed. How else would masonPotter come back if he died? I couldn't risk loosing my beloved.
Barely any time had passed since masonPotter had left base when a message popped up in chat "masonPotter took the L to kelp137". Horror and shock hit me like a stone, he was dead. Then I realized our bed was still intact and I turned around to see.... Him. He was standing completely still. If I had to guess at the time I'd have said he was typing urgently, probably coming up with a genius plan like the handsome smart man he is, and I was right, as a new message popped up from masonPotter. "com hide" it read. I could read the fear in his message, he was scared. Scared just like me. But the bed needed protecting, how else would we respawn? Before replying I checked to see what teams were left, it was just us and red. I could see them rushing towards base. "We can't hide." I quickly typed back before fighting one of the reds. I could see their name tag, kelp137, the one who killed masonPotter. Blind with rage I violently spamed click until they were dead, knocking them into the void, their bed was still intact so they quickly respawned at their base. I turned around to fight the other one, they were in our bed! Before I had time to stop them a loud roaring sound played and big, red, pixelated letters popped up on screen. "BED DESTROYED YOU WILL NO LONGER RESPAWN." blinded by even more rage, I swiftly killed the person who destroyed our bed and pressed shift a few times to get masonPotter's attention. We had to hide, it was our only option.
masonPotter led me to a spot behind base where we could hide, it was sheltered and we were safe.. For now. Suddenly a new message from masonPotter popped up in chat. "hi Y/N" my heart fluttered, he wanted to talk to me. "Hey masonPotter" I typed back shyly. "Can I tell u somhing" he replied back. My heart was beating faster now, did he have feelings for me? "Sure" I replied. After a few minutes, a new message from masonPotter came up, "I lov u." it read. I couldn't believe my eyes, masonPotter and I were in love. "I love you too." I typed back, my cheeks bright red from blushing. Winning the bedwars game was completely off my mind at this point, as long as I had masonPotter nothing could go wrong.
We waited in silence for red to find us but they never did. We both ended up getting AFK'd, giving red the win. But that didn't matter. I had found the love of my life. masonPotter.
