Chapter One

I was staring at the board game when Elena called, trying to figure out my next move as Jenna continues to kick my butt in checkers, Elena bailed on family game night to hang with Matt, they had a fight, he saw a future when she didn't typical isn't it, a guy wants a future when the girl just wants to stay in the now, dramatics always happen at parties which is why I quote going to them. After I got together with my boyfriend Tyler, I quite going to parties, they weren't for me anyway.

Three hours had passed since my parents left, me Jenna and Jeremy we're getting worried, that's when the phone rang again, it was sheriff Forbes, our parents were gone, Elena was ok just in initial shock, I was balling to the point that I was hyperventilating so bad that Jeremy had to pull me close to his chest to calm me down which was hard as he was crying too, nobody could make a sound, Jenna had lost her sister I had lost my mom and my best friend how was I supposed to move past this like everybody else nobody was as hurt as me. The world had stopped moving, everything was in slow motion and the only person I could talk to was gone off the face of the earth and no one could replace that.
I decided to move after that I left went to France and moved on, wasn't going back, I broke things off with Tyler, and continued on with life
