2. Meeting Abbie

Justins POV:

Its already been nearly 2 weeks at school and all me and Maya have said to eachother is: "Hi" Its going slowly i guess you could say...

Wednesday morning, time to make a change. Im going to have a chat with Maya, find out more about her (not in a weird way) and slowly hopefully become friends, im saying friends because i am going out with Josie still. And i havent even seen her in real life. I should get working on that.

(English class)

Maya hadnt arrived yet so i decide to talk to Jake about my plan just before, but quietly so ONLY jake can hear.

"psst"

"psstt"

"PSST JAKE!"

the whole class turned around. Yeah ill just tell jake later.

Maya walking in, ugh i love her gorgeous red locks all curly and sweet and her smile, her smile is just amazing i love her dimples and everything about her. Woah Justin snap out of it, no you dont you love Josie. But ive never even met her. It doesnt matter, your better than this. Why am i having a conversation with myself in my head?

"Hey"  As i said we say hey to eachother every lesson and it usually doesnt go any further then that.

"Hey"

She got out her books and we both started to get on with the task. Until i whispered:

"So, Maya is it?"

"Yup..."

"...Justin"

"Yup, Justin"

"So what school did you use to go to?"

"Oh, i went to West Bridge High" ...West bridge high, i swear thats the school Josie said she went to.

"Oh, by any chance do you know a girl called Josie who goes there?"

"Josie? Erm yeah, but she was a bit of a bitch to me so we were not friends at all, i guess you could say enemies, why?" Wow they really hate eachother, so they wouldnt tell eachother secrets. But im not a cheater so i wouldnt. Or would i?

"Oh its just because shes my-" Wait i cant say shes my girlfriend if im going to cheat?!

"m-my COUSIN!" phew

There was a very awkward silence between us, until she said 

"Oh, im so sorry, i-i didnt mean t-to-"

"Its fine, were not that close so its okay"

"Im so sorry-"

"Its okay, i havent even met her"

"Wait, you havent even met your cousin?"

That came out wrong, ugh Justin

"I mean i have but i ju-just-"

"Its okay, i get what you mean"

I was getting so nervous i was stuttering, its so obvious i like her.

Mayas POV:

He was so cute when he started stuttering, but i felt so embarrassed when i called his cousin a bitch! Im such an idot!

(In the lunch hall)

Considering im still quite new i didnt have many friends, well none at all really, the only person i really talked to was Justin and he was not really a friend. I found a table with no one sitting there so i sat down, all on my own. Ugh how annoying. 

"Hey"  a girl had actaully came and sat by me, i felt so loved!

"Oh hi"

"May i sit"

"Of corse!"

"So your called Maya right?"

"Yeah"

"Hey, im Abbie" 

"Nice to meet you, Abbie"

"So where abouts do you live?"

"Do you know Wilbridge street?"

"Yeah"

"I live there"

"No way i live live 2 streets away from you"

"That is so cool!"

"Do you walk home?"

"Yes, usually"

"We could walk together if you want"

"I would love to!" Finally i had made a friend! And a nice one! And only lived 2 streets away from me! SQUEEEE!! Abbie stared at me.

"Did i scream that out loud?" She didnt even need to answer, i looked around and the whole lunch hall was staring at me, it was all silent, I went bright red!

"Is there a problem?" I looked up and Abbie had shouted at them all, shes so sweet

"Thank you"

"No biggy, you nearly went as red as your hair"  We both laughed at what she said and went to walk home together. 

As we started walking out of the school i heard someone shout my name?

Justins POV: 

"MAYA!" She turned around to look at me, she went a bit red again probably because i shouted a bit too loud.

Mayas POV:

I went so red as i turned around because it was Justin and i guess you could say i quite liked him, i just hope i didnt go red as i looked at him because that would have been obvious that i liked him! And i dont even know him that well, considering hes cousin with Josie he might be just like her, ugh.

Justins POV: 

"Yes" It was a bit of a late reply but i still found it cute

"I was wondering after school tomorrow if you-"

*cough cough* 

"Oh, -and Abbie... would like to come with me and Jake to starbucks just for a coffee?"

"Im up for it, what about you Maya"

"Erm, y-yeah sounds fun"

"Cool, so cya then"

As i walked away the opposite direction i heard her say quietly, "bye" it was quiet but i heard, i smiled really big, but she couldnt see as i was walking away. Shes so cute and i cant wait to talk to her more at starbucks tomorrow. Why did Abbie have to add herslelf in, i had to add Jake into it too because i didnt want to be ablone with Abbie and Maya. Now ive just got to ask him and hope he will be up for it.

Mayas POV:

I tried saying bye back to him but he was already walking away so i just said quietly 

"Bye." I hope he didnt hear me, otherwise that would be so embarrassing, but i dont think he did otherwise he would have been laughing at me.

Me and Abbie walked back home together, Abbie seemed so nice!

When i got home i told my mom all about my amazing day, i told her after school i was going to starbucks with Abbie... i didnt mention anyone else. i dont want my mom to think i have a boyfriend even though i dont and i wont have one for a while!
