*two years later*
Tom's POV
"You're gonna be fine, Tom."Squid adjusted the tie to my black suit, and I stared at the ceiling with a nervous glance. "Say that all you want; I'm still nervous." "You're getting married today, Tom! You can't be nervous!" Lee joked.
I turned to him with a playful glare. "Lee, don't you even say that. I love her so much; what if I mess up the vows, or I drop her when I dip-kiss her?" "You've been practicing for weeks with Rosie; you'll be fine," Finnball said with a laugh. "Yeah, and I have some advice for you," Ash said, and I nodded in his direction. "On the honeymoon, use protection!"
I rolled my eyes at him, recalling when he said that on our first date, over two years ago. "Yeah, yeah, we will. Hey Squid, did you and Lina use protection last month? Because Netty told me that she's fallen slightly ill," I asked my brother, and his face flushed a dark shade of purple thanks to his blue, slimy squid skin.
"I don't think so... I'll ask her when you guys leave," he answered nervously, and we all exploded into laughter. Except for Stampy, of course; he stood near the wall, an irritated expression on his face as he read over the invitations we sent to everyone the week before. Netty forced him to be one of the men of honor, and he wasn't very... happy about it.
"Stamps, at least do something other than mope in the corner! It's your sister's wedding day; you and Squid will be brother-in-laws!" Lee cheered, and he glanced up a split second. "That's the only thing I'm thrilled about."
"You can't be negative about this forever. Netty's so happy with Tom; can't you accept that?" Ash asked with a frown. "No. Even after two years of them being together, I still don't approve," he answered. "This is ridiculous! I've done nothing to hurt Netty, nor have I disrespected her in any way. Can't you accept that I love her more than anything, and that it isn't changing?" I asked angrily, narrowing my eyes at him.
He didn't answer, but he pulled the invitation back up to his face with a stone expression. "Ignore him. Have a good time with her, even if he doesn't exactly approve of it," Finnball said reassuringly. "If he doesn't approve after two years, I doubt he ever will," I sighed, watching as Squid finished with the tie.
Ash looked at his watch. "We should all go ahead and get ready to head out; Rosie just texted saying they're all ready." I rubbed my hands together nervously and sighed in the mirror. "Let's get this over with."
We all walked out of the changing room to see Rosie, Amy, Sqaishey, Salem, and Lina all standing behind the doors of the Clubhouse on the stairs with dark blue dresses on; Netty was nowhere to be seen. "Is Netty at the top?" I asked as everyone greeted each other. "She is, and she's ready to walk down the aisle when she's supposed to," Lina reassured, pecking Squid's lips in greeting.
"Alright. Wish me luck out there," I said nervously. "You can do it! Netty loves you; you'll be fine!" Sqaishey assured, holding Stampy's arm in her own. "Thanks," I said, jogging up the stairs and walking through the aisle, with both my and Netty's family in the seats.
I waved at my Mum as I walked by her, and I approached the preacher, an elderly man from another world named Oliver, and stood next to him. He chuckled at my nervous expression. "You'll be fine, Mr. Spencer. It's a lot easier than you think it is."
I smiled lightly, and then WeeWee (or Wayne) began the noteblock chorus he thought up. Then the pairs of bridesmaids and men of honors began to walk down the aisle: Lina and Squid, Amy and Lee, Salem and Finnball, Rosie and Ash, and then Sqaishey and Stampy.
Then the doors swung open once more, and Netty appeared.
She looked stunning in a long white dress with no sleeves, but was tight at the top and got wider towards the bottom. A bouquet of white roses rested in her hands. She grinned happily as she began to walk towards me, her and Stampy's father holding her close to him.
