Chapter Three:

Blaze’s POV;

“I hate them,” I snapped to Fallen.

“Join the club. Why the hell were they so frickin’ rude like that?” Fallen clenched her jaw tightly.

“’Cause their assholes.” I mumbled and started walking toward the school entrance.

Fallen followed me, keeping pace with me. I was basically a steam engine train. Steam should have been coming out of my ears from me being so mad.

I turned, seeing Fallen was just as mad as me, probably even more mad than I was.

“Why are we even caring what they think?” I asked, suddenly.

“I honestly have no clue. Their new, they just need to get to know everyone.” Fallen stated, mellowing out like I was now.

“I guess we could try to talk to them again.” I sighed. I didn’t really like this idea, but it might be a good idea.

“Later, during lunch break we can. Right now if we don’t go now, class will begin without us.” Fallen mumbled. I sighed again, knowing she was right.

“Come on. We don’t want to be late.” I said as I started walking again, pushing open the doors to the school.

The hallways were crammed full with students. We were making our way through the crowd, pushing our way through. Our lockers were at the end of the hall, where no one was. Everyone was trying to get into the classrooms.

“Get the hell outta the way people!” I snapped over the loudness.

The crowd of people divided into two groups, making a path way for us. I smirked to myself and walked to the other side, Fallen right behind me.

“How the heck did you do that?” Fallen asked me when we were out of the crowd.

“Be demanding, they move.” I simply stated.

“I’ll have to try that sometime.” She smirked, smiling as well.

“You should. It’s a lot of fun.” I smiled. She giggled lightly and walked to her locker.

I laughed as I walked to my locker as well. I had it opened and was just about to shut it when I heard footsteps behind me.

“Well, well, well. Long time no see.” A familiar voice said. I rolled my eyes, turning to glare at the two twin boys from earlier.

I shut my locker with my back and leaned against it. Fallen shut hers and walked over to me, her arms crossed tightly over her chest.

“What do you two want?” I snapped, not meaning to.

“We were wondering if you knew were the music room was?” The guy in the white blazer asked.

“Of course we do. We’ve been going to this school for forever.” Fallen scoffed, annoyed with the two already. I didn’t blame her, so was I.

“Yeah, so, where is it blue streaks?” The guy in the black blazer asked, purely annoyed.

“It’s Fallen, you asshole. Not ‘blue streaks’. And it’s not orange streaks for my sister. It’s Blaze.” Fallen snapped at them.

This whole give them another chance thing was not working out. It probably never would.

“Blue streaks, Fallen, whatever the hell you are called! Just tell us were the music room is already!” The guy in white blazer asked.

“Go find it for yourselves.” I muttered. I turned to Fallen, and tugged on her arm, pulling her in the direction of the classroom.

“Why won’t you just tell us?” One of them asked.

“Ugh. What the hell are your names?” I turned, glaring at them both.

“Ian and Bones. Good luck guessing who is who.” One of them smirked.

Were they just trying to make this more complicated? It sure was working.

“Come on,” I said to Fallen. I let my arm fall down to my side and just started walking, not knowing if she was following or not.

After a few seconds, footsteps were coming from behind me. I glanced over my shoulder, seeing Fallen’s figure easily catching up to me. The classroom door was opened, and a lot of sound was coming from it.

We walked in, and the noise continued to pick up. The teacher wasn’t there yet, so we didn’t have to worry about being late for class or anything. We took our seats just as she walked in.

Everyone shut up then, not wanting to get in trouble. I didn’t blame them, this teacher was harsh.

She immediately got to work, talking about something to do with the Civil War or whatever. I paid no attention to her.

I was too busy wondering why those two guys wanted to go to music room, and not go to class for the first day. I don’t know why, but it bugged me.

I had decided something. After school was over, I was going to get to the bottom of their problems. And who the hell which one was Ian and who was Bones. They had no right to talk and act like that around us. Who did they think they were? Big shot famous people who could get away with anything? I don’t think so.

The sounding of the lunch bell startled me. I wasn’t expecting it to ring at the moment, I was too busy thinking. But I was actually kinda happy. We’d get to talk to the guys again. Hopefully.

As the other kids started getting their things ready, I quickly stood and grabbed my backpack. I walked over to Fallen’s desk. She was getting up just as well.

“Okay, so. I have an idea.” I said. She eyed me carefully, trying to read my expression on my face.

“What’s the idea?” She asked me as we began to walk out of the room. We were the last ones out.

“I was thinking we could try to get those two guys to answer some questions. Maybe we could even find out who was who. I thought that if we tried talking to them, nicely of course, they might start to be nice as well, and not complete assholes.” I explained as we made our way down to the lunch room.

“Not a bad idea. Maybe it will work.” Fallen said after a while, she was probably thinking about it like I was.

“Well, let’s see…” I trailed off as we walked into the lunch room.

Sure enough, the two guys were sitting down on a table, literally, sitting down ON the table. We walked in their direction. I hoped for the best.
