From Friends to Lovers

Noah's POV:
I started to freak out once Hailee said she didn't know where Ricky was.I then left the hospital and went home.I turned on the news,and seen Ricky's mugshot.I quickly ran out to my car,jumped in,and drove to the county jail.When I got there,I got out of my car,and ran inside.I gave the police the bail money,and bailed Ricky out.Even though I was furious at him for putting my best friend in danger,I still loved him,so I had to get him out.One of the cops brought Ricky out,he signed some paperwork,and we left.
"Why did you think it was okay to drive,under the influence.You knew damn well that you were putting Hailee in danger.She liked you,but you fucked everything up.", I yelled.
Ricky looked at me,he started to cry,then he said, "I don't know what I was thinking,please tell me that Hailee is okay.I didn't mean to hurt her", Ricky said,then wiped his tears.
"She's fine,but if I would have lost my best friend,because you decided to drive drunk,I would have killed you",I said.
I opened the window,letting the cold breeze hit my face.I could tell that Ricky cared about Hailee,more then he cared about me,when we were dating.When we got back to my house,I looked at Ricky,who had fell asleep while we were driving back.I shook him gently until he woke up.When he did,we both got out of the car and went inside.Ricky sat on my couch,while i grabbed him a bottle of water.I then walked back over to him,and sat down.I handed him the water,and he began to drink it.He set the water down,and looked at me.I looked at him,and our eyes connected.I leaned in and kissed him.Ricky looked at me weirdly,then he kissed me back.We finally broke the kiss,so that we could get some air.After a couple seconds we went back to kissing.Two minutes later,there was knocking on the door,I ignored it.Whoever was at the door walked in,and I don't think the person liked what she saw.
