Austin woke up to the smell of bacon sizzling in the kitchen. He put on his favorite hoodie and walked down the stairs of his attic. His sister and brother where playing on their nintendos, and his mom was cooking and his dad was still asleep.
"Good morning dear," His mom said, spatula covered in grease. "How did you sleep? Dream about any hot girls?" She laughed. Austin looked down at his phone and said nothing. 'Stupid homophobe.' Austin thought. He was gay, but deep into the closet. Only his older sister, who was only home once a month knew. His friend, Jaymie, knew as well or thought she knew. Austin blushed as he saw a selfie of him and Tyler.
"Morning son!" His dad smiled, slowly fading after looking at Austin who was blushing, and looked at his phone, with an unacceptable selfie with another boy.
"Dad.... It's not what you think!" Austin looked at his dad, who clearly was a homophobe as well. "It's only a friend!"
"Does Austie like boys?" Austin's little brother giggled. "Weird!"
"Yeah! Then, mommy will finally let me use that hot pink baseball bat she got me!" Austin's little sister said. "That's the proper way to kick him out of my house! Even my Barbies will be disappointed!"
"Shut up, he's straight!" His mom yelled. Fights about Austin's sexuality was a hot topic in his house. Austin ran upstairs and called Jaymie.
"Sup my dude? And why in the fricking frick frickers are you calling me at 8 a.m.?" Jaymie said.
"My parents are freaks." Austin said. "Can I come over after breakfast?"
"Sure! My parents are gone for the weekend and they told me do what you want." Jaymie said. "Don't expect me to clean."
"Bye." Austin said. Austin ran to the door, but his mom grabbed his shoulder.
"You are straight, right?" Austin's mom said.
"Sure?" He said. He pushed her into the trash where she belonged. "I'm going to Jaymie's house!" Austin grabbed a skateboard and went to her house.
"Hello." Jaymie said. She had a bb gun, shooting Austin in the cheek.
"Ow." He said, holding the little bb that had been shot at him.
"I've been practicing. And, why are you're parents freaks again?" Jaymie asked. "Cause that's what you said at EIGHT in the morning." Austin looked at the high ceilings in Jaymie's house.
"Homophobes." Austin said. "They don't get it. Before I left my mom asked me if I was straight! They were fighting all morning, and my sister's Barbies are now hating on meeeeee!" Austin complained.
"You sure are afraid those Barbies don't like you. You are a weirdo, my dude." Jaymie went into the kitchen. "You want some chips? We have loads." She grabbed a bag of cheetos and threw them at Austin.
"I ate 10 pieces of bacon, I'm fine." Austin said. Jaymie laughed, held up her phone, to show Tyler was calling her.
"Hey Tyler!" Jaymie teased. "Whatcha doing?"
"Hi! I was wondering where Eva and Austin are. I'm with Gabb right now." Tyler said. "I did accidentally commit scooter ankle. I've got two bruises, and I'm bored. This is the 6th time this week I've went out for boba."
"H-hi Tyler!" Austin said, trying not to blush. "How are you?"
"Oh- Hi, Austin! How are you?" Jaymie switched it to facetime. Tyler was at the beach, and it was 85 degrees outside. And he was shirtless. "Do you think we could all hang out later? I'll bring Gabb. Eva can figure it out." Austin's entire face was red.
