Chapter: Forty-two

"Aaron?" I said confused out of my mind. They both jumped up in the bed. Their hair was so messy and they weren't wearing any clothes. Riley quickly pulled the sheet up over her.

"It isn't what it looks like," Riley said putting her hands up.

"What that you guys slept together," I said.

"Ok it is but we were both drunk," Riley said turning to look at Aaron. Who didn't say anything for a while. I told them it's none of my business what they did and left the room. I ran into Kio in the hallway he was carrying a plate of eggs and bacon towards Riley's room.

"Uh hey Kio what are you doing," I asked stopping him in his path.

"Good morning to you too. I am taking breakfast to Riley." He said.

"Oh trust me you do not want to go in there she is throwing up everywhere. She got pretty drunk last night. Here let me take it to her for you she wouldn't want you to see her like this." I said grabbing the plate from his hands.

"It's ok I don't mind," he said reaching for the plate but I wouldn't let him grab it.

"No Kio she wouldn't want you in there I will let her known it's from you and have her come find you when she's better," I said in a harsh tone. I felt bad but I was trying to protect Kio. Riley and he weren't dating so it's not like she is committed to him but it would still break his heart. He doesn't serve that after what that bitch Olivia did to him.

"Um ok well tell her I said I hope she feels better." He turned around and walked back to his room. I went into Riley's room startling them again. When I walked in Aaron was getting dressed and Riley was in the bathroom.

"Hey, I am really sorry about all this I didn't mean for it to happen," Aaron said pulling his shirt over his head.

"Well we need to figure out how to sneak you downstairs because Kio cannot see you," I said setting the plate down on the dresser. He knocked his head in agreement and we began scheming up a plan. I told Riley she had to clean up and go distract Kio in his room. While I got Aaron out. She agreed and went down to his room. Aaron and I waited for her to give us a thumbs up behind her back for when he answered the door. Which she did then closed the door behind her. "Let's go!" We crept down the hallway right past Kio's room and down the stairs. I saw Quinton passed on the couch. The only person that I saw awake was Jaden.

"Aaron?" Jaden said.

"I will explain later." I opened the front door a shued him out.

"Wait how am I getting home?" He asked which I didn't even think about.

"I will drive you let me grab my keys." I walked back into the house to get my keys from the foyer leaving Aaron outside by himself. "Babe I will be back I have to take Aaron home. I tell you everything later." I gave him a kiss and then went out to meet Aaron in my car. After the most awkward drive, I finally got to his house. He got out and leaned his head in to say bye.

"Thanks for the ride sorry again." He said with a shy smile.

"Make sure you talk things out with Riley. See you soon." I said smiling back. He shut the door and I waited for him to get inside.

Jaden pov

Brynn just got back from taking Aaron home which I am very confused about. I wonder who he stayed with last night. It was definitely a drunk hookup. We took our breakfast upstairs and Brynn told me everything. How she walked in on them and had to sneak him out. I felt bad for Kio but he knows that Riley isn't committed right now. But on a good note, Comatose drops tomorrow. I am going to be busy getting all the details for the release party-ready. We are having it here. Hopefully, everything works out well. Brynn of course has been helping me nonstop. God, I love her so much. I think I am going to plan a nice date the day after the party and give her the promise ring. I hope she doesn't freak out. Since we have only been dating for 6 months. But she's the one I just know it. Officially our six months is tomorrow.
