~Amelia~

I sit in my usual cafe, sipping my tea as I wait for my two best friend to show up. As I wait my phone pings, notifying I have a message. Thinking it's one of my friends I pick it up and look at who send it. It's an unknown number. Curiously, I unlock my phone and read the message.

Hello Amelia, it's Shawn. If you don't remember me, I'm the guy you helped out last Saturday. I would like to properly thank you for what you've done. Could we meet up some time?

Shawn. What happened that night is still a bit weird to me. Normally I don't let any stranger into my house. But I let him. It was probably the scared look on his face along with the blood. I sigh as I look up to find both Yvet and Brianna walking up. 'Hey girl.' Brianna says as she sits down. 'Why are you looking so down?' Yvet asks as she sits as well. 'Nothing. It's weird.' I say as I lay my phone back down on the table. 'What is?' Brianna asks. 'This guy just texted me.' I say to start the story. They don't know about the weird fiasco. They look at me, wanting me to go on 'last Saturday, after we went out I came across this guy. He looked terrified and pale. He had... blood, on his face and was being chased by someone with a bat.' Brianna leans back and listens 'Damn, why? What happened to him?' Yvet asks. 'I don't know, but I brought him back to my place, to hide him from the one chasing him. He was kind and polite, though confused.' I say. 'You let a strange guy into your house?' Brianna asks. I shrug 'what else could I have done?' Brianna wants to answer but Yvet is quicker 'what did he look like?' I chuckle, of course she wants to know.

Amelia's eyes light up as she speaks. She remembers the man that was in need of her help that night. The man that stayed in her house. This is what she knew:
His eyes were intense yet soft, in a way she didn't know was possible. It held all of her, as it hid all of him.it made her want to get to know him. They were so brown, so deeply brown, she could see the hidden world behind them.
His hair was as dark of a brown as her darkest secrets. In the dim lights of her unlit living room, it looked black. As black as the night sky when there are no stars to be seen.
His skin so clear it made her wonder. It looked so soft She bets it would feel like the clouds on a summers day.
White teeth that could make anyone jealous.
A smile so pure and heartwarming it made her smile. It made her forget about the darkest parts of herself.
His physique took her breath away. Broad shoulders and strong arms.
He looked beautiful on the outside, even if she didn't really notice that night. But the inside is something different. Something he would never want her to know about......

He was a mess.
The things he saw and now kept in his mind.
The fear and stress he has felt.
How he has panic attacks and takes meds for it.
The places he loves.
The dark things that happened to him that made him so caring and humble.
His demeanor.
He's kind and caring, and always tries to keep his head helt high.
He's strong in so many ways

'But even then.' I say. 'Why would I?' Brianna leans forward 'just meet up with him. And go from there.' I sigh knowing she's right. 'Fine. I'll text him back.'

Sorry for the late response, I would like to meet up.
