Ch 7 Story Time with Y/N

Inside the library Y/N was busy looking for a book of some kind with Red telling him of the recent news.

Vaughan: You know there's a dance coming up? Mandatory apparently.

Y/N: That blows.

Vaughan: I can see it now. Wasted students that I'm going to scare the shit out of with the Grimm pig thingy.

Y/N: It's taxidermy.

Vaughan: Doesn't matter. I ordered up the suits and all that crap.

Y/N: Well this sucks.

Vaughan: How do you think I feel? Well I'm going to make some Molotov cocktails. Want to go?

Y/N: It's almost night and I got to read to Periculosa Moixó.

Vaughan: That pet of yours better be able to fly us one of these days.

Unbeknownst to the two there was a couple of students spying on them.

Emerald: Periculosa Moixó? You don't think he has a Nevermore as a pet?

Though unbeknownst to Cinder and Emerald who were spying Red was right besides them when she said it.

Vaughan: Oh yeah Blue has a Nevermore apparently. Stupid how there's no book on how to train your Nevermore.

With a confused Cinder and Emerald he left just as he arrived.

Emerald: You don't think he heard us?

Cinder: No.

Emerald: I thought all Grimm are suppose to attack humans on sight.

Cinder: Which makes this Y/N all the more interesting. The rumors were true.

Emerald: And what's our plan to get them on our side?

Cinder: Simple, we ask them to the dance. When the day comes it's simply the matter of convincing.

Emerald: If they don't agree then?

Cinder: Then they perish with Beacon. You get the stupid one.

Emerald: They both are.

Cinder: The red one. This should be quite an easy task given from what I gathered the two were not exactly good in their last lifetime.

Y/N: (in background) Yup. This is the story I'm going to read to you. What do you think?

Periculosa Moixó: (shrieks in agreement)

Y/N: Yeah. It has pictures and everything. Just the way you like it.

Checking out the book from the library Y/N left to his room with Cinder following closely behind. Just as you were about to enter into your room she stops you.

Cinder: You're just the person I'm looking for. Would you like to go to the dance with me?

Y/N: Sorry but I'm not interested.

Thinking that this was going to be simple as she thought most for would kill for a chance like this, so it was quite the surprise hearing you decline her offer.

Cinder: WHY NOT!

Y/N: Look you're probably kind or whatever but this ain't my thing. Well good luck.

Just as you were about to open your room a hand grabs yours.

Cinder: I insist. I could make it worth your wild.

Y/N: No. I'm tired and I have a pet to read to so he gone.

Entering inside you left a frustrated Cinder. The only reason why she did not kill you on the spot was because of the main mission to end Beacon. Calming down she pulls out her scroll and calls Emerald for her progress.

Cinder: How did it went.

Emerald: Before I could even say anything he took one look at me and said no.

Ending the call Cinder thought that you two will simply burn with Beacon.

Inside you put Periculosa Moixó on his bird stand. Sitting down on a chair you started to read to your pet.

Y/N: Are you ready?

Periculosa Moixó didn't any noises but rather the Grimm flapped its wings signaling it was. Flipping through some of the pages you saw how the book was just awful as it showed the Nevermore gets killed by a Huntsman in the end of the story. Not wanting to read it you decided to make up a story showing your pet the pictures of the parts before that.

Y/N: Alright. The Nevermore Who Took No as an Answer.

Showing the cover of the book to your pet it flapped its wings a bit before settling down.

Y/N: There was once a Nevermore who was hated by all of the other Nevermore because unlike them he actually did not want to die fighting the humans.

You showed a completely unrelated picture of two Huntsmen fighting but Periculosa Moixó liked it anyways.

Y/N: Though this was because one particular human in the Nevermore's time of need took care of it after getting shot down.

Showing the picture of one of the Huntsmen being killed by a rogue Huntsman Periculosa Moixó hops on the book for a closer look.

Y/N: Now the Nevermore hated the human at first knowing the dangers they pose but as time went on it reluctantly went along.

Y/N flips the page to show a picture of a lake surrounded by Mother Nature.

Y/N: Unfortunately as time went on it seems like the other humans became suspicious that the man went missing everyday.

Y/N flips another page to show a random bird in the sky doing bird things. Periculosa Moixó likes that very much.

Y/N: One day the leader along with a few of the warriors followed the man. At first they were going to kill the Nevermore but the man stood in the way.

Flipping another page you show the sea with some whales.

Y/N: Against all odds he gave a fiery speech convincing them to stop the war against the Nevermores as their true enemy was in fact the pelicans with machine guns. Despite all the losses sustained it was said after the war on the pelicans a golden age where humans and Nevermore reclaimed lands lost to the other species.

Flipping around some pages you land on one with a Nevermore, showing this to Periculosa Moixó. Y/N saw how it look at the picture on the page with such interest almost as if your pet knew that was how this was going to look in the future.

Closing the book you put Periculosa Moixó in his cage along with his stuffed Nevermore. It quickly went to sleep leaving you to wonder how would you even keep Periculosa Moixó once it began to grow.
