The Day that Stayed forever!

Chapter 3

I laid there, daydreaming about my best friend, how his gorgeous blue eyes matched the color of the hair that was always in his face, How his lips looked so soft and kissable. Ugh!!! Its like being on cloud nine daydreaming about him!

"Katrina!!!" I heard my mom yell from downstairs, "Declan's here" my eyes lit up like fireworks as i listen so frequently as the name is called ever so often!!

I ran downstairs, not even thinking once jumping into my best friends arms, as he holds me firmly around my waist, my mind went blank! Nothing to hear, but the voice of the one i so deeply admired, loved, cherished....my sweet living best friend, Declan!

"Katrina you missed me that much?" I heard Declan say in a jokingly tone as i snapped out of it getting down saying "dah i missed you goofball! and sorry for jumping on you!"

"Im not a goofball, im a badass, emo jock!" Declan said as i began to laugh, he began to laugh soon after me.

"Declan i hate to say it but we will never be badass okay!" I say smiling a bit as i begin to drift of admiring his lips.....those lips with the black rings in them mmmm i swear soooo sexy!

"Katrina!!! Snap out of it!! And quit staring at my lips while drooling its weird." Declan says as i snap back into reality, "huh?" I say followed by "i was not drooling!" He then follows by "yea sure you weren't Katrina" with a hint of sarcasm.

I run up the stairs trying to not get caught by Declan, yea its a weird game we play but anyway when i get in there i was sure i closed the door but....

"Im to fast for you huh Katrina!" I hear Declan say as i turn around looking into his bright blue eyes as we are..... Kissing distance, oh how i wanted to kiss him, i lust for those lips to glide with mine in perfect harmony!!!!

But instead i screamed, walking back, tripping over my neon green vans falling on the floor, i look up seeing Declan and his attempt to not laugh at me but he failed epically!!

"You're a douche, you know that?" I say as he responds holding his hands out to help me up " i know that perfectly" i then reply "i just thought i'd let you know" while grabbing his hand, allowing him to help me up, thats when i begin to admire him without his consent.

"What are you looking at Kat?" He says as the sound of his voice bounces me back to reality. " Oh nothing sorry" i say looking down at my feet thinking to myself, why don't i just tell him?

Ugh this is so hard, im in love with my best friend Declan and i cant tell if he likes me back like geez give me a sign or something!
