I could tell by the look on her face that she had absolutely no idea what I gave her.

"It's called a cell phone, Juliet."

"I know what it is, Niall." She hissed, "I've just never actually seen one."

"Well now, you have one."

"How do you work this thing?"

"Come on love," I motioned her toward the couch, "we've got a lot of learning to do."

{three hours later}

"So, I think you've gotten the hang of it." I smiled as I stood, "I've put all of my contacts in it just in case. Now, I'd really like it if you wouldn't change your backgrounds. I find that I look very attractive in those pictures."

"How'd you even find those pictures, Niall?"

"I just googled 'niall horan sexy' and found tons."

"Boy, do you need help."

"Oh come on," I winked, "you know you like me."

"Of course not!" I defended myself, "Your..your like my brother."

I couldn't tell if I was blushing or not but I tried best to hide it by walking away.

I didn't get very far..I ran into the wall.

"Niall, don't laugh!"

"I can't help it. I guess all the 'dumb blonde jokes' are real."

I frowned at him and made my way to Denise's room.

"I'm only kidding, Juliet!"

"Yeah, yeah, yeah."

"There you are!" Denise smiled as she wrapped a scarf around her neck, "Are you ready?"

"Ready for what?"

"Shopping."

Oh dear god.

"Oh my gosh, this would be perfect!" Denise handed me a dress, "You should def-"

"Denise, I make my own clothes." I said; feeling a bit of embarrassment.

"Oh Juliet," she smiled, "It's time for a change. I mean, of course your clothes are amazing but it's soon to be a new year..a new you, right?"

I guess she was right. It's a new year and why not be the new me?

"Oh alright," I took the dress into a fitting room, "don't judge, okay?"

"Honey, your probably the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. Nothing would ever change that. Not even that dress."

The dress the red and fitted...it complimented my figure well.

I was 5'7 and weighed just under 110. I tried to keep a nice figure and stay in shape.

I didn't want to feel conceited but I felt this dress looked amazing on me.

"Oh, Juliet." Denise smiled. "Your beautiful."

"Really?"

"Absolutely. Now, we'll have to find another dress."

"Another?"

"Well, a few more...and outfits. You are spending New Years with harry."

"I figured a tight fitting dress would please him."

"Actually, no clothes would..but you can't go naked so we'll get one that's easy to take off."

***

"Merry Christmas, Mum!" Niall's voice startled me, "Nearly the end of 2014!
What a year."

"Meet christmas, son. Should you go and get Juliet?"

"Ah, yes."

The walls were thin in this house which surprised me..Niall's voice was quite loud.

Don't even get me started on his laugh.

I checked myself in the mirror once more. I rubbed my hands down the bottom of my dress.

I checked my different angles and left some hair over my shoulders while the rest lay against the back.

My body felt weak and I felt nervous and I really just wanted to hide.

"Juliet!" Niall yelled from the hall, "Juliet! It's Christmas and you need to get dow-

Wow. You look, wow. Oh, wow. Oh my god, you look stunning."

"Thanks niall," I blushed, "You clean up nice."

"Shall we go?"

He offered his arm to me and I took it, happily.

I felt like a couple as we went down the stairs, arm in arm. Everyone smiled as they watched us.

"The happy couple!" Denise shouted.

"No, no. We're not like that." Niall shook his head, "Friends."

"Unless, of course..you'd want to be more." I winked as Denise took me away.

I didn't even mean to say that..it just came out.

Maybe it was a good thing.

What if it wasn't?

"Okay, so I may have accidently told people you two are together." Denise whispered, "I promise it was an accident."

"Denise! You know we don't like each other like that!"

"Are you sure? Because I think after Niall saw you his feelings may have changed."

"Denise."

"It's alright, Juliet. It's not like Niall's gonna do anything. He'll probably just laugh it off."

***

I didn't mean to say it. I mean, it got the best of me. I tried to avoid Juliet and I know she tried the same.

I guess there were some feelings for her but they must be immature.

I've hadn't dated a girl in ages and having one around with me..turned me on, I guess.

The party was great but I wasn't planning on drinking. I acted like I was but someone had to watch Juliet. She's never tasted any type of alcohol before.

There were so many people here, who knows what could happen to her.

The party ended around 2 and everyone left except me, Mum, Denise, Greg, Theo and Juliet...we were living here.

Juliet wasn't there though. She wasn't here. There..or anywhere.

Had she gotten overwhelmed and left with someone? Oh shit. I'm going to lose my mind.

"Denise, Denise." I called, "I can't find her. I can't find Juliet."

"Oh you horse," she yawned, "she's probably asleep. After all, isn't it past her bedtime?"

I hissed at her and wished her goodnight as I looked for Juliet.

There she was. Asleep..more like passed out.

She lay on her bed over the covers with her shoes still on.

I let out a laugh and took her shoes off and set them aside. I slipped the cover over her and kissed her forehead.

Then, I was off to bed.
