The Twins Pt. 1

Part 1

Let's go back to where it all started. Before the story of when the twins began. Nearly 20 years ago, there was a young woman and a young man that were in love with each other. Some would call it true love. Others call it soulmates.Which is a mad thing to say for most. But there was a problem with their love, it was forbidden love. And the two young lovers were both royalty. Royalty that was known as enemies to each other for centuries. The young woman was the princess of Light. She was the future queen of peace and harmony for all. But also fights for only each other in order to create peace on their lands. The young man was the prince of Darkness. He was the future king of a place where all sorts of nightmares live. And where evil long lives. Where they hide mostly in the dark and away from the light. Some call it hell and heaven, some call it light and dark, and others call madness. Therefore, they are called many things. The two worlds were separate and only thought of one another as nothing more than enemies ever since the war started. Even though nobody really knows how the war began between the two worlds.

The two young people first met one another in a garden. But it was no ordinary garden, it was the enchanted garden in another dimension that nobody knew about. A garden that was near forgotten. A garden nobody would hardly ever believe. Except the person who gave the two royalties a clue to find the enchanted garden. The princess and the prince figured out the clue and saw each other for the first time. They were supposed to be nothing more than threats to each other. So they were both getting ready to attack each other into a bloodbath. Until the young woman let her own guard down, walked a little closer, and looked at him for a brief moment. All within silence. As they looked at each other for a few seconds. And then she spoke to the prince.

"Hello." the prince was only surprised to hear her voice. But then he put his guard down. He didn't know how to reply. But he just tried not to look so threatening towards her. Which was hard since that wasn't the way that he was raised. But there was something about her voice that made him feel rather... calm.

"Hello?" he questioned. The young woman smiled and he could only smile back.

Ever since that day, they started seeing each other more often. They would talk about one another's world, explain the way things work, and play games with each other. All while earning each other's trusts almost with no hesitation. As if they were like little kids. It was almost as if the hate between the two worlds was forgotten. They've always enjoyed one another's company and always wondered why they couldn't leave. They knew that their families or worlds wouldn't approve of them if they were having company with their own enemy. With someone that was an enemy for centuries and just be nice and so generous with them. The Light World might even try to find the prince and execute him. Or The Dark World would try and execute the princess. Then one day, the young man realized what the answer was to the question. The answer to why neither one of them could ever leave one another. The answer to why they decided not to fight each other on the first day they met. So the following night, they both went to the secret garden but he was first. So he could be prepared. Prepared for what he has to say to her. To tell her the answer to their questions.

"Okay. there's something that I've got to tell you. In my head, I have always been wondering why I couldn't leave you since day one or even why I couldn't slaughter your thro-.... Or no, no.... I can't break her heart. But maybe she'll take it as a compliment. Just like all the other girls do back at home. Argh! How do people in the other rhyelm even tell one another about feelings? And how do they compliment to each other so nicely, too?" the young man said all to himself until the young woman flew right above him. The young man then watched her spread her wings and glide with the wind all while smiling at him. Of course he couldn't refuse to smile back at her.

She landed in front of him and bowed to him playfully. And took her wings behind.

"So.... How are you on this fine night?" she asked him. He hesitated.
