Chapter 13

August P.O.V

I can't believe I listened to that stupid bitch. she set me up again. this time ima fuck her up when I see her 💯💯. I should've Juss stayed and chill with CeCe but my dumbass went and left. I shook my head at my stupidity. It happened so fast, almost as if it was a dream or It wasn't me, it was someone else.

6 Hours Earlier

" Stop playing, and put soul train in the DVD player".

"But I wanna watch love and basketball."

"We watch it all the time though."

"So....please."

"Alright fine. You lucky I like you."

CeCe just smiled and laughed. After my breakdown in the studio our relationship has become closer. I told her I like her and she told me she like me. We both agreed on just chilling for now and we'll find out where it leads to. When the movie started CeCe grabbed the bowl of popcorn and came and sat right next to me. I put my arm around her.

After about an hour and a half later CeCe feel asleep so I picked her up and put her to sleep in my room. I walked back downstairs and cleared up the living room then started heading upstairs to sleep wih CeCe. My phone started ringing and the caller ID was saved as Job. So I picked up and it told me my location and time to go to with the merchandise. I took a shower and changed into a all black outfit.

While driving I had this gut feeling that I'm going to regret this but I kept driving. I looked around the area and saw some bright lights down the block, must be the Christmas lights I guess. But it wasn't, it was cop lights. I hurried and did a U turn but they had the block surrounded.

"Put your hands where I can see them!"

Charlene P.O.V

I woke up in August's bed but there wasn't no August. I got up and brushed my teeth and took a shower. I did all of the hygiene stuff then looked in my personal dresser and got out some clothes. I after I got dressed, I poured me a bowl of cereal and turned on the tv

" We've got word that new R&B singer August Alsina has been arrested yesterday at around 12 to 1pm. At right now we're not sure what he got arrested for but we'll have to you by this afternoon. Back to you Cassey."

OH MY GOSH, my bowl fell out of my hand and onto the floor. What did August get himself into??
