(Y/N POV)
It was just another stupid day of work. I hate having to be the leader of this group. I mean like definitely it makes me feel better because I'm doing something my beloved brother can't. After all there can only be one leader and I'll make sure that my father and brother don't plan anything. It's not really a selfish thing, more of a safety thing. For one, my father, also the ex-leader of Washiora, wanted my brother to become the leader, but that position fell to me, the older and more responsible sibling. It was actually uncalled for, it is actually rare for a female to take lead of a mafia. But the main reason why I refuse to let my position be taken away from me is that I know that my brother and father plan to use to the mafia to gain power and take over Japan. After all, my father was half-way done with his plan before we decided to strip him of his power. You see, my father and I had never gotten along. Ever since I was young, he trained to be perfect myself to become the ideal and powerful ruler. I never really received love from him, but I should thank him for making me a feared figure.
That all changed the instant my brother was born. I was 4 years old when my brother was born, and my life changed since then. My father was absolutely ecstatic for having been born a son. All attention was taken away from me and focused on my brother, and I really didn't mind. My life was quite peaceful for a while, and I actually got a glimpse on what a normal life was like. When my brother started his training, I was actually a proud sister and I helped him during his early days of training. But as he got stronger, the comments started flooding in. My father was constantly comparing me to my brother, talking about how my brother had improved in such a short time whereas I was barely changing.
Of course these comments hurt, but I didn't take them to heart because I knew that comments such as that would only bring me down. So I used them to my advantage. Everyone took note of the changes. The once cheerful and trivial girl was seen to be a girl with a cold and menacing glare. After mastering most of the forms of self-defense, I proceeded to create my own type of fighting skill, which included a fuseage of the strongest moves. Starting from when I was age 12, my father and I lived separately. I lived with my aunt, until I turned 14 which was when I was called in to assume the position of leader. 3 years have passed and I must say, we've grown quite a lot.
First I started off by firing all the people of my father's cabinet because I knew that there would be someone who would stay loyal to my father and try to plan my demise. In order to find a new crew, I put out an application for hiring a new crew. However, using logic, I figured out that there would be people who show different personalities in front of different people, or there are people who might apply just for power. So I met up with my school principal, and explained my plan, which was to let the contestants enter the school, where I could view them under my other identity. It all went well, as I quickly found the ones who behaved differently with different people.
This is how I grouped everyone. I observed them from a distance and marked the ones who caught my attention. Long story short, I used the process of elimination to gather my team. And I'm glad they're on my team because honestly speaking, just one person holds enough power that I'm not sure I could beat them.
(A/N: Hey hey heyyy. So this was more of a filler chapter because I just wanted to like introduce the background of the reader, and I thought it would've been too hard to put a bunch of information in like in the middle of the story. So hopefully I can start writing the actual story soon. Thank you for reading and don't forget to vote!)
