Hi! So I really wanted to make my own Jackson Storm background story and I hope that it came out good! He's my favorite and I don't know why I always love the villains in movies. Why do they make them so interesting???? P.S.  A LOT of the inspiration I am getting is from a song by Slaves called The Pact. It's a really sad song about him talking about his past with his family and it makes me think about Storm. I know that it's not really realistic to have dreams of the past, maybe some people actually do? But it's all to play into the drama of the story...anyways I hope you like this story!!!

It was 6 a.m. Jackson was awake once again. Dreams of his past recurring over almost every night. He decided to take a drive to take his mind off things. It seemed to usually work except tonight was colder than usual. Was it somewhere he read about how cold air causes nightmares? He shook  his hood from the random thought and then went to release the latch on his trailer. Gale was sound asleep and she did usually stay asleep. Not this time.

"Going out again?" She mumbled only being half awake not even bothering to open her eyes. Jackson reassured her he'd be back and she fell back asleep before he finished his sentence. They were taking a stop from driving across the country. Usually he'd stay in a nice hotel suite but there wasn't one for miles. Gale's trailer was rather nice anyways. It was nicer than most racecar trailers. They were practically in the middle of nowhere. Storm hated these kinds of places. He wasn't one to enjoy the scenery or stuff like that well of course unless it was nice like his mansion.

He had the urge to take a little cruise down the road. He came up to a stop light. No one was to be found. One thing that he did both enjoy and hate about these kinds of places was the quietness. He was quiet himself most of the time outside of his racing career. Everyone knew him as the jerk that was loud and proud but when he was alone he was just himself. He hated that nothing could distract him from his own thoughts. Sometimes your thoughts can be your worst enemy he always knew that. He continued to drive around until he drove upon the creepy little texas-chainsaw massacre like town.

No car lived there anymore and he wasn't surprised. The place was a dump. He'd even wonder how any car would make it by living like that. He decided that he saw enough and drove back towards where Gale was on the side of the road. It was 7:30 a.m. and she was awake. She seemed to be looking off in the distance as if searching for him and as he drove up to her, her eyes darted towards him.

"I was about to leave you." She said and then yawned.

"Yeah sure." Was all Jackson said and then proceeded to get inside the trailer.

"Did you have a bad dream or something? Seems like your sleep schedule's a bit off." She asked.

Jackson just felt like sinking into the ground, he was exhausted now.

"I guess you can say that." He replied.

"You need all the rest you can get Mr. Storm." Gale said as she put on music to keep her awake. She pulled out from the side of the road. Jackson was drifting off into a deep sleep. He heard a voice calling his name. He tried opening his eyes up but he couldn't. He knew it was a feminine voice and she sounded very concerned for him.

"Jackson! Are you okay?" She asked as she tried to brush the snow plastered on the smaller gray car. He coughed from the cold snow in his mouth. He started yelling at the other cars that were speeding away from them.

"I-I'll GET YOU FOR THIS!!!!" He yelled as loud as he could.

"Oh come now. Revenge isn't going to solve your problems." She said as she finally got all the snow off the young car. He looked at her with glaring silver blue eyes.
