PETERS POV

It had been 10 days since Peter had left to go with some college friends. Wade had stayed back with his family at 1st Peter was ok with it. being away was fun and relaxing for the man. But after about a week he starting to have nightmares about Wade dying and it upset him. During their short calls together Wade didn't say anything. He probably didn't want to worry Peter about his problems. Or make him feel guilty about leaving him behind. But Peter could see it in his eyes that he was upset and sad.

Peter knew that Wade was missing him because Wade would admit that. Plus it was obvious. They were normally together 24/7, but thats not really what Peter was afraid of. He was mainly concerned that his family was making fun of him or picking on him. Since they did have a tendency to do so. And of course Wade being Wade didn't take for himself. He would just take it and bottle everything up until he exploded and when he would there would normally be selfharm involved. Which of course bothered even more.

"Pete! Come on!" Peter could hear his friend call him from the other room. "Just a sec, ned. I have to call Wade." Peter called out from the plain room he had been staying in for the past few weeks now.

Peter could hear his friends groan in the background as they were eager to get to going to the club. Peter rolled his eyes and picked up his phone from the nightstand that had his items littered out on. "How about i just met yall there!" Peter said and as soon as he could he heard the floor door slam. He chuckled to himself. "Wow. Such great friends i have." He said sarcastically and hit the facetime Wade button.

He had answered on the 6 ring with the camera on the screen of the bathroom ceiling. Which was odd for him.

"Wade? Buddy? You okay?" Peter asked very concerned. "Why can't I see your gorgeous face?"

"Oh I'm..im just using the uh bathroom." He stutterd out with an voice that Peter could tell he had been crying.

"Are you sure?" He said not believing him. "Because I can tell that you are on the opposite side of the toilet in the bathroom. It looks like you are sitting in front of the vanity from the ceiling tiles." Peter said remembering studying the ceiling when he would take long baths after patrolling.

Peter could then hear a muttered curse word from Wade side and then a sniffle. "Wade. Whats wrong?"
