He Came Back For Me

Emmi's pov:

When it was finally wensday it was hard to walk. I did my chores. Then eating my two bites of eggs and half a slice of bacon. I then weighed myself. 115. Too fat. I drank 3 glasses of water then puking whatever nutrients i had in me.

"All girls to the adoption room, all girls to the adoption room please"

Ugghhh. Time to not get adopted again.

"Welcome girls so 3 couples and 1 man is here to see you. So first the couples will each have an hour and the man will have half an hour. First couple you can come in now.

Each time i said the same stuff "Hi im Lilly i like screamo bands, video games, and youtubers."

And i would get the same reply. "I don't think we will be adopting you." or "Not this one. Shes weird"

Then i saw the one person i was 99.9% sure was here for me. It was Mitch. He came back for me. I was the last girl in the line. There were 70 of us. And he had to interview everyone. It was the rules. So this is what he did. The girls would say "Hi im-" then he would cut them off and just reply. "Quater past not happening"

Then when he got to me i said "Hi im Emmi Im 14-"

Then he screamed "This one"

Then miss Asswipe came out and looked then said. "Not for sale. You don't want that drunk slut."

"Yes, yes i do. And dont speak to a child like that. I will adopt her. She is now my daughter. Give me the papers then I'll help her pack."

"You got lucky brat. And Mr. Hughes when you want to give her back ill be here."

"Trust me..id never give her back to an abusive, drunk, rude, assholish orphanage owner like you. Come on the car is out back Emmi Hughes"
