Blood Rose -the sequel-

Chapter 3

I wake up in sweat and breathing heavily.

I go to the bathroom to wash my face, as I stand up and look in the mirror I see a figure and quickly turn around, but there was nothing there.

Was I really seeing things? 

I took the towel and cleaned my face.

I sigh with relief.

I go back to my bed and check my phone.

"3 am really?"

I fell on my bed and went to sleep again.

Outside the room, through the window of the bedroom were two pitch-black eyes staring.

three and a half hours later the phone alarm played a song loudly.

"I'm awake I'm awake !" 

I get up and get dressed.

"Allison, breakfast!"

"Coming..."

"Good Morning Pumpkin!"

"Pumpkin? dad really?"

"Okay okay, are you ready for the game tonight?"

"Yes, me Chloe and Emily are going together."

"What about Mason?" asked mom.

"Uhhh, well we're kind of taking a break."

"Do you wanna talk about it?"

"No, not really."

"Okay, well if you change your mind I'm here."

"Thanks, mom."

"Well I better get going, don't wanna miss my class."

"Honey, class doesn't start until 8:00, right now it's 7:20 you still have time"

"I know, but I just wanted to walk to school."

"Oh, I see, so Mason isn't picking you up?"

"No..."

"Oh, okay then, have a good day at school."

"Thanks, and bye."

I stand up and go to the door to open it, I see Sebastian standing almost ready to knock on the door.

"Sebastian?"

"Uhhh hi."

"How do you know where I live?"

"Oh uhh I asked your friends from school, they told me."

"Ohh..."

"I'm sorry, I came here to return something, the other day when we bumped into each other you dropped something."

He shows me a notebook

"Oh, my notebook! I wondered where I placed it, thanks."

"Of course, don't worry I didn't look inside."

"Why not? most people would."

"Well, I'm not most people."

"There are notes from classes, if you want you can borrow them."

"No, I'm good."

"So are you going to school?"

"I... Yes... school"

"Hah, okay well I forgot my jacket let me get it"

"Okay."

"You don't have to stand there."

"No, I'm fine."

"Allison, who's at the door?"

"Uhhhh that's a classmate."

"Are you sure?"

"Yep, and I'm off to school, bye!"

"Bye."

I close the door, put on my jacket, and flick my hair out.

"Okay, I'm ready, let's go."

Sebastian comes close and picks up a piece of my hair and pulls it out of the jacket.

"You missed this."

"Oh... uh thanks."

While walking to school...

"So, do you play any sport?"

"I used to play more sport, but now I'm more into running and maybe lifting.."

"Cool, maybe you could try out for the team?"

"What team?"

"Football team."

"Hmm, not sure, what about you, do you like sports?"

"Yes, I used to practice a lot of athletics, tennis, and cheerleading."

"Do you still practice?"

"Not really."

"Why not?"

"I guess I kinda grew out of it, now days I like writing and reading a lot."

"Oh, I see, that's cool, I'm kind of a book nerd myself but don't tell anyone" He laughs

"What's your favorite book?"

"hmmm, I have to go with Moby dick."

"Ah, classic"

"Yep."

We arrive at school and everyone starts to stare at us.

Mason gives me a disappointing look and walks away.

"Well looks like we are at the center of attention."

"Yeah..."

I go to my group of friends who are looking at me.

"Can you please not stare like everyone else?"

"Sebastian hi!" says Chloe.

"Oh, uh this is...."

"Sebastian the new guy in school, hello." says Emily

"I guess everyone knows me..."

"Seems like it."
