Chapter 3-Lies to Love

*Will's POV*
I was all fine now, I had a pretty quick recovery the doctor said. I was staying at Jordan's house for now. I pulled out my phone and texted Maddie "heyyyyyy, wanna come over to Jordan's house?" I sent the message. I stared blankly at the screen of my phone, waiting for a response. "Btw I'm the only one home rn ;)" I sent, she'll probably want to come over so fast I thought. I didn't get a response so I went back to watching tv. I felt my phone vibrating.
"I'll be over in 5-15 mins :)" Maddie texted me.
I smiled and ran into the guest bedroom, where all my stuff was, and put on my "fanciest" clothes. I looked at myself in the mirror. I combed my hair back and the doorbell rang. I took a deep breath and answered the door. "Hey cutie!" I said, smiling at her.
She laughed "Thanks, Will" she said.
It was just something about her, I don't know what it was, maybe her laugh, her voice, maybe it was just her.
"Come inside" I said, still smiling.
"So, where's Jordan" she asked, while walking in.
"Trip with Brayden and Ryan" I responded.
"Anyways, sit down" I said

*Maddie's POV*
I sat down on Jordan's couch, furthest away from Will. He was sitting on the same couch and awkwardly, inched towards me. "Well, Maddie." He mumbled out.
"Yeah, Will?" I questioned.
"I've, uh, liked you for a while now" he stumbled on his words and was blushing. "So, I was wondering if you, um, wanted to be my girlfriend" he asked.
Shit. I thought, what, am I going to say no. I almost ended his life a few weeks ago In that car accident. I like Jordan, not Will. I had to react fast. I can't just sit here forever.
"Of course, Will." I said, smiling.
"But, I thought you liked Jordan." I asked.
"Well I did, then you came into my life." He said.
I blushed. He was so sweet. I moved closer to him and kissed him on the cheek. He turned to look at me and kissed me back. His lips were so sweet. I kissed him back and we held it for so long. He leaned back on the couch and pulled me on top of him. "Will, I love-" I was cut off by the door opening.
It was Jordan. We both stared at him. "Wow." Was all he could say. He then walked back outside and slammed the door behind him. Will shrugged and went back to making out with me.
"Will, stop, we need to talk to Jordan" I said. Staring into his eyes, realizing that I was falling in love with Will now.
