I am safe and out of Hector's sight for now. Perhaps he is done chasing me. Now I can focus on what matters: knowing where I am and hopefully how to return home. All morning, these encounters have been distractions. Though this world is pretty, I don't belong here. I must return home.

Walking through Ponyville, I examined more of the town: a hoof crafted pony fountain statue, a couch and quill store that had said items outside the store, and... a giant tree that seemed to be shaped more into a house. The shapes protruding out from the wood made it seem like a small room or windows. Up top was a balcony and towards the front was a wooden sign and door. The sign, I felt the words "Golden Oak Library" engraved into it. I found what I need, good. Knocking on the door, I hear a voice inside and hoofsteps clicking across a wooden floor. The door opens and a Unicorn like figure steps out to come face to face with me.

"Hello sir"

"Greetings miss. Is this library open?"

"Um... yes it is."

"Good. May I come in?"

"...Sure. Enter, please."

"Thank you"

I could feel it, she looks at me suspiciously but lets me walk in.

It was definitely a library. The interior had shelves of books on every part of the walls and It was a joy to now get some information. Shelf after shelf, I tried to find something, anything, that could aid me in getting back home. As I look through the shelves, a book caught my attention. On the book, I could feel and sense the wording written on the cover: "Advanced Unicorn Spells". Anything that involved magic was definitely worth reading even if it seems out of my ability. So I flipped through pages in hope of finding a spell that I could use to return home. And what I found surprised me. On page 62, there was a spell that allows the caster to open a portal to another world. Did this librarian bring me here? She was a Unicorn even with those wings.

I close that book and grab another book titled, "Equestria: The Two Sisters" In the book I read about a division between the Unicorns, Pegasi and Earth Ponies and a holiday called, "Hearth's Warming". The way it was described sounded a lot like Christmas where I come from.

I grab more books to look through so I may be able to figure more about my location. After about an hour or so, I gained quite a bit of knowledge about this strange new world. "Equestria" that's where I was; a land filled with ponies. Strange, but why bring me here? To defeat a "New Evil"? No thank you. Being a hero, it's not a pleasant role.

The voices returned and a scene forced itself to me. I was fighting my way through the hallways of the fortress, strongly worried about my blood brother and friend who went on without me. I was right to be worried, they called out to me!

"Embor!" Quickly I dart around, following the echoed voice. "Embor!"

"Superior!? Sam!?"

"EMBOR!"

I snapped back into reality and mentally scanned the room, identifying a familiar pegasus next to me.

"Rainbow Dash?"

"That's my name, dont wear it out. Looks like you read through quite a lot of books today"

"Yeah I did. I wanted to know more about where I am; Recite the history, you know?"

"Cool"

"And what brings you here Ms Dash?"

"Likely the same reason you are here: to read, well my favorite series. Also, sorry for raising my voice at you. I saw you were here, wanted to say 'hi' but you seemed out of it"

"It's all good. Where is the librarian?"

"Twilight just left. Also she is closing the library in a bit while she heads to Canterlot for an important visit."

"Oh, then I'll leave as well."

"You dont have to go right now."

"Yeah but I'm pretty much done here. I came here to learn about this location, and I did. Tell Twilight I said 'thanks' for letting me come in and read."

After putting all the books away I exit the library, now knowing where I am. But who brought me here remains a mystery. The book of Unicorn Spells mentioned a portal, a highly advanced spell to travel into different worlds. Though, what about the mare who spoke to me when I first arrived? I... I dont think she was a unicorn. I couldn't tell.

I keep moving down the street and think. "Where can I live?" I should try to find a home. However, without money, I probably wont last long here. That is if this society and economy works differently. Where to find a job? I then remembered SugarCube Corner. Maybe it will be best to work there.
