Its been a hot minute since I posted the first chapter and I just had this one sitting in my drafts and I just edited it... this chapter is a little better than the first in my opinion and they should get better as I go. I'm also dealing with school rn so I'll try to update as much as possible. :)

I open my eyes and the moon is still high in the sky. I look over at the clock on the little screen for the radio. It's barely four in the morning, I've been sleeping for about and hour. The first thing I think about is how I have no clue what this persons name is. I think about what I should do make a mental list about all the things I know about him. Tall, black hair, blue eyes, he found me and he was glowing and then came back not glowing and he showed me my frozen body. He's a perfect shot even in the pitch black. That's all I know.

"Who are you?" I ask him, he glances over at me for a split second and then puts his eyes back on the road.

"Ty Holland, and of you're wondering where I'm taking you, we're gonna be there in about five minutes so just wait." Why in the world is he so damn bossy? I roll my eyes.

I start unraveling the gauze that I rapped around my thigh. It looks like my blood soaked through it a while ago and it's starting to dry. I finish unraveling it and I'm still bleeding a good amount. I bunch up the gauze and apply pressure.

"I think we need to go to the hospital, I'm losing too much blood."

"We don't do hospitals in my family we live with the best doctor I know." Not long after he says that I get light headed. I struggle to keep my eyes open and my head up. I feel Ty step on the gas peddle and we're pulling into a gated driveway, but before I can see the house everything goes blank.

I wake up and I'm being carried into a house. "REEVE!" Ty yells, a few seconds later I hear multiple pairs of footsteps pounding down the stairs. "Who is that?" A deep voice commands sounding very similar to Tys. I look over no longer listening to the voices. In front of me stands a tall man with hair so dark it looks almost blue with a few strands of grey here and there, I must be hallucinating because his eyes look violet. Next to him stands a women with white blond wavy hair and electric blue eyes. And standing in front of me looking at my leg is a olive skinned woman with dark hair and kind eyes.

"Basement now! She's lost way to much blood." Those are the last words I hear before I pass out again.

I wake up with too bright lights above me and my wrists cuffed to a hospital bed. I look at my surroundings. I'm in a concrete room that smells faintly of blood. There's a camera in every corner of the room and there at several drains on the floor. As I'm looking at one of the cameras the door opens and eleven people walk into the room. All but one with countless tattoos. I recognize only three of them. The doctor, Reeve and the two I'm assuming are Tys parents.

"These are my parents Cole and Ali and my sister Rane," he says pointing to the two that we're asking questions up stairs and a girl with hair just like her mothers and violet eyes like her fathers, "that's Frosty," tall, blond, and has dark eyes either blue or brown I can't tell. "His wife Milla," short but muscular, brown hair down to her shoulders and brown eyes. "Reeve, the doctor that fixed you up and her husband Bronx," a tall man with dark brown hair and green eyes. "Makenzie," a shorter woman with long dark hair and hazel eyes. "Trina" a tall girl with black hair just above her shoulders and brown eyes. "Gavin," Tall, blue eyes, and blond hair. "And last but not least Veronica," a short girl with long wavy brown hair and dark eyes. "Everyone this is Andréa Howard I found her in the woods hanging in one of our traps. When I went to check everything out I was in spirit form. She was too but she didn't know. I'm not even sure if she knew what she was." Ty briefs them on everything he knows about me and then he walks out of the room. About thirty seconds later he comes back into the room with my gun in one hand and my duffle in the other. "It'd be nice if someone would uncuff me!" I say yanking on my restraints.

"Ty" Cole says throwing him a key. Ty walks over to me and without looking at my eyes unlocks the cuffs holding me to the bed. "Thanks," I mutter

"Why were you running through the woods with your car parked only twenty yards away?" Cole asks, "For your information I was running towards my car, because I ran away from home. And before you ask why, all I'm going to say is my parents were scaring me. I found pictures of monsters in my parents office and on the back of them they had the word Anima on them and what I'm guessing was the date and time the pictures were taken." Everyone looks at each other, having what seems so be a silent conversation.

"I need you to give me your address. Ty, you, Rane, Reeve and Emerson are staying here to keep and eye on this one." He says pointing at me. I give him my address and they leave.

"Get up you're coming with us." Rane says and she walks out that door. After that it's just Ty and me.

"Can you walk?" he ask, "I can try." I sit to the edge of the bed, my pants ripped even more than they were earlier. I put my left foot on the floor inching down on it putting all of my weight on the one leg. As I stand I wobble, the blood loss still effecting me. As I step on my wounded leg, I nearly crash to the floor. But right before impact Ty catches me. He lifts me up and walks my out the door. It's really dark and all I notice is that it's a hallway.

At the end of the hallway Ty opens a door and light comes flooding through from a staircase. We go up and at first glance the house is beautiful. Hard wood floors, crown molding, and so much more.

We go up to another flight of stairs and turn the corner. He enters a large room with an en-suite bathroom, a queen sized bed, a bay window that out looks a fenced back yard with a pool, and a big entertainment area, the drapes are white and blue and they resemble marble, the wall is white and the dresser is a dark hard wood. Ty walks over to the bed and lays me down gently.

"This will be your room whenever you're here and for however long you're here. Bathrooms through that door," he says pointing to a closed door. "And all the clothes in the dresser should fit you."

"When can I have my gun back?"

"Emerson," He calls and a younger girl no older than thirteen comes walking in, "if you go down to the basement and grab her gun and bag I'll make you waffles for breakfast."

"Really? Bribery again." She rolls here eyes, she has dark hair just like her older brother and father but one of her eyes are and electric blue and the other is violet.

"Yes Em. Now do you want waffles or not?" Emerson huffs and stomps out of the room.

"What time is it?" I ask Ty the sun had already come up and I can hear birds singing through the window.

"Around eight, you were out for a long time but you needed rest, and Reeve was also able to give you blood through an IV along with some fluids."

"Why did everyone get so up set when I mentioned the pictures?"

"You know that word you said? Anima?" He pauses and I nod so he knows I'm listening, "Anima isn't just a word. It's an organization working against us. They killed past members of our group and almost killed my mom on numerous occasions. They are very bad people and we think your parents might be working for them."

"What about the monsters that were on the pictures."

"You're a curious one aren't you?" He sighs. "They're zombies. And not the horror movie, Frankenstein type zombie. Only certain people can see them and those people are us slayers and members Anima. Remember when you got caught in our trap?" I nod again. "Well those ropes are soaked in a solution called a bloodline. It's a chemical product we make. It makes what ever we put it on tangible to our spirits and zombies. The rope must've yanked your spirit out of your body."

Just as he finishes taking Emerson enters the room and sets my gun and duffle on the bed next to me. "Thank you," I say looking at her.

"Whatever, but Ty if I don't have waffles within the hour I will go on a rampage." She turns and leaves my room leaving Ty and me alone yet again.
