I sit in a group
Hardly noticed
Hardly spoken to
Just a blur in the background
A forgotten shadow
I rise and stride into the unknown
The darkness engulfs me
Embraces me with tender arms
A blanket of stars wraps around me
A shield of trees separates me from the rest
I take a deep breath,inhaling the silence
Favouring the sweet scent
Enjoying it while it lasts
Until I wander back to my group
I slip silently,into the sidelines
Where I belong
