Loving an ENEMY (SANAYEON)

Chapter 5: It was the Beer

Despite Nayeon and Sana's constant glares that they threw at each other, their group was still able to finish their title defense.

And to avoid arguments in front of the thesis committee and jeopardize their hardwork, Tzuyu volunteered to defend their title alongside Dahyun. Nayeon and Sana waited outside the hall with Chaeyoung standing between them.

However, in the middle of the questions, one professor from the thesis committee asked a question that had nothing to do with their thesis.

"You're groupmates with Ms. Im and Ms. Minatozaki, right?"

Tzuyu and Dahyun looked at each other briefly, rather confused.

"Yes," Tzuyu answered.

"Are the rumours true about them?"

Tzuyu couldn't help but feel irked, one reason was because she didn't care. "With all due respect, professor. We have no idea about their dating life."

"Ah, I understand."

Then the questions about their thesis continued.

"How was it?" Nayeon asked right after Tzuyu and Dahyun left the hall.

Tzuyu and Dahyun's face were unreadable.

"Was it disapproved?" Sana asked, not aware that she had stood beside Nayeon, the side of their arms touching.

"It's..." Tzuyu looked over at Dahyun and soon Dahyun's lips twitched into a smile.

"Of course it's approved!"

Nayeon, Sana, and Chaeyoung couldn't help but jump in joy and trapped Tzuyu and Dahyun into an embrace.

Momo and Mina were on their way to Sana when they saw the cute scene,  Sana's arm were around Nayeon's shoulders while Nayeon was on the former's waist.

They looked at each other and Mina went to steal a shot of it.

Soon after, the group dispersed from their touching group hug. Sana was grinning from ear to ear when she spotted her best friends.

"You look so happy," Momo smirked.

"Our thesis was approved!" Sana was jumping up and down. "This calls for a celebration!"

"It's just title defense, Sana. It's not the final defense yet," Nayeon commented before walking away to her next class.

Sana scoffed and rolled her eyes.

Mina snorted. "You two were cute earlier."

"What do you mean?" Sana snapped.

Mina took her phone and showed the picture of the group hug to Sana.

Sana felt her cheeks heat up after seeing the picture. The bliss she felt earlier was overwhelming she hadn't felt Nayeon's arm around her earier.

How she wished she could replay it.

Nayeon couldn't stop thinking about if they should celebrate the success of their title defense or save it for the final defense.

She knew she shouldn't worry about such trivial thing but it was invading her mind, to the point of she couldn't concentrate with her programming.

"Jihyo, I have a question."

Jihyo was also busy with her laptop. "Shoot."

"Do you think we should celebrate our success in title defense?"
