A/N: Hello readers!! Thank you so much for giving my story a chance, I hope that you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it! I'm going to be honest here, my updates are going to be all over the place. I'm currently in my Junior year of high school (ikr, that rough buddy), anyways, I'll try and update this as much as I can in any free time that I find! I'm currently writing this in my car before school starts, so I might start doing this more often  to create time (that is as long as I don't decide that I value my sleep again, who knows). Anyways, this chapter is just a quick chapter with some minor character info as well as a description of your quirk and that stuff + a prologue. Well, I have to go now so I'm not late for my first period, but future me will take it from here!

Hello, future me here! I'm gonna give you a bit of character info then get to the prologue~

Quirk: Demigod

You come from a family line of people with this quirk, except it varies for each person, with everyone taking after the traits of certain Greek gods. For example, your brothers took after Poseidon and Hades, while you take after Zeus. Your quirk includes: powers over wind/air, being able to fly (by controlling the air/winds around you, nothing fancy), control over storms as well as being able to conjure them, if you conjure up a large enough storm you can summon lightning, but it takes a lot of effort (this also makes you immune to being affected by electricity/electrical quirks). Another side effect is that you heal faster than the normal person, and your family has a track record of a longer lifespan than most people.

Weaknesses:

Although your quirk is fairly powerful, it has its setbacks. You thrive in open spaces with a lot more freedom of the air around you; However, due to this, you have claustrophobia since you feel like your powers are highly restricted. You are terrified of large bodies of water/anything where you can drown and have never learned how to swim, thus making you practically useless in water bioms. The same goes for being underground, the earth surrounding you makes you feel restricted and you're terrified of the ground caving in on you etc. You are also afraid of the dark due to the desensitization and being unable to see your surroundings.

Family:

You have two brothers, a father, and a mother (but she's passed away, we'll get to that later). Your father is the owner of one of the largest hero agencies in America and runs it without doing any of the hero work himself. He has pushed his children to become the number one hero (for reasons that will be explained at a later date, a problem for future me to deal with). He has been specifically strict with you on this because he feels as if you have the superior quirk out of your siblings (*cough *cough Todoroki situation going on here but different, you'll see *cough *cough). You currently live with your father in New York City where his hero agency is based; However, both of your brothers are older than you and live on their own now.

Ok, now I'm going to move into the prologue, idk, just felt like I should add some sort of transition... anyways

Prologue:

I sit across from my father as his attention stays glued to the papers in front of him. The air feels thick around me, like it is aware of the tension that it was holding. Beads of sweat slowly start forming and I feel them begin to gently fall down my face, almost like tears. My fingers find themselves knitting in and out of each other, creating only a small distraction from the stressful atmosphere.

I dare look up at my father who was (luckily) still focused on the documents spread across his desk. My heart beats against my rib cage like the beat of a drum that rings throughout my head. I take deep breaths to calm myself down and focus on the air entering and exiting my body. 'He never calls me into his office, he always just sends one of his assistants to speak to me' I thought, taking one more quick glance at the man in front of me. 'What could be so important that he has to speak to me himself about?'.

The sharp sound of papers being tapped on a desk cause my head to snap up. My eyes meet my father's as he puts the papers aside, though there were still others scattered around his desk.
"Now (y/n), you must know that there is a reason why I called you in here, correct?" He asked, his voice stern, unquestioning even though he asked a question. Before I could answer he continued for himself, "You are at the age where you are starting high school now, and I expect you to follow your path to becoming the number one hero in the world".

Your father's cold eyes stared into your own as you sink back into your chair, gulping as you simply nod your head in response. "Good, I also expect you to be attending the best hero academy that there is to help further you on your journey" He stated, reaching for something in one of the draws on his desk. You hear it snap closed as his hand raises to present a folder to you.

You slowly take the folder from the outstretched hand in front of you, your hand sinking a bit with the weight of the files. Opening it up, you see what seems to be application papers for a high school. Your eyes go wide as you read the information on the sheet. "You will be attending U.A in Japan, one of the best hero academies in the world" your father commands, a sinking feeling growing in your gut.

'But I don't want to leave...' You thought. Your hand gripped the folder tightly to stop it from shaking. You sharply bring your head up to face the man in front of you, your mouth quickly opening to express the thought that lied on the tip of your tongue. "It is one of the best hero academies and you will be attending there this upcoming school year" He cut you off as if reading your mind, not allowing the thought to leave your head. "We have made special preparations for your entrance exam to be performed here" He continued as your head fell.

Your father continued about the preparations and ect. that were being made for the move and other things that would come with it. It didn't matter what you did, what you said, none of it mattered. You were going to U.A, whether you liked it or not.

A/N

Ok, last authors note for today I swear! First off, I know the weaknesses feel overdone, but I just wanted to even out the quirk so you aren't op if that makes sense. And if you want to imagine your quirk like demigod powers from PJO then feel free (that was low-key my inspiration for your quirk since my brain just decided to not be creative). Finally, thank you all for reading this through as well as my authors note! I hope you like the story and keep reading it! If you enjoyed it (even if you didn't), please leave a comment and a vote, every one means so much to me and I'd love to hear from you!

Side question: Do any of you have any song recommendations? I've been wanting to expand my playlist and idk what to add, so leave some songs or artists for me to check out pls!
