Hey guys it's been a while. Too long to be honest. Please read this-it has important information-not like life or death but like yeah please read it. I've not had the chance to write because of studies, exams, work etc. you guys don't really want to know to be honest because it's boring. You want to know about the story and the writing. Now that there is a pandemic, I have a bit more time to write.

I will not be continuing this story- I'm really sorry. Not because I can't be asked but because I am merging both my stories (Guardian and the Hero of Olympus stories) into one. Kind of-it's not an exact merger-I have chopped and changed the plot significantly. Thank you all for supporting me and both the stories. I hope you enjoy the new one-I will finish this new one I promise. Please check it out.

The new story (I have already posted chapter 1-hopefully it should show-or should show soon) is called "The Flagbearer". The summary is below:

Perseus. The destroyer. Flagbearer of the Army of Apollo. He was an unknown, until his very name caused awed whispers across the Godly World. Until his very presence caused monsters to tremble. Born after the first Gigantomachy, his tale is one worthy of telling. It is time you heard it.

That is the summary for The Flagbearer. Please let me know what you think. Please check it out I promise to make it worth your while. I have posted the first chapter of The Flagbearer, but if you are still not convinced, I will leave a teaser of chapter 1 below:

3rd Person POV:

The End. Fortunately, or unfortunately, it never really is. The pain coursing through his body was a confirmation of the fact his end had not yet come. He wasn't scared of Death; quite the contrary, he welcomed it. He hoped that he had done enough so that, when in a few moments he met his end, his pain would subside and he would arrive at the gates of Elysium content with the way he had led his life.

He vaguely acknowledged a buzzing sound in his ear. Taking a shaky breath, he strained to hear the voice. It was so familiar to him. Warm, loving, yet filled with pain and worry. Even through the coursing pain, he could make out the request of the voice.

As the sound of the request reached his hears, his whole body convulsed. His mind and body fighting with his heart and soul. It was like he was being split in two. Just as fast as the sound had come, it stopped. His body had stilled. His eyes had been closed and strained in response to the pain. And then he felt it.

A presence. Cold, yet warm. Scary, yet peaceful. He was confused whether he should run away from it or run into its embrace. He knew his eyes were closed, yet the outline of the ethereal being was clear as day. Thanatos always made his presence known. The God of Death held out his hand, urging the man in front of him to take his hand. The man strained to move. Turning his head, he tried to reach out and grab the hand.

The God tilted his head as if he was confused, before suddenly going stiff, as if he was suddenly a statue. Five seconds...Ten seconds...Thirty seconds. Two whole minutes passed as the God stood frozen on the spot. The God shuddered as control of his limbs returned, retracting his hand away as if it had been burnt. The God took another brief look at the man in front of him before spreading his wings and flying off.

Then everything went black.

Again, I apologise for being away so long and not finishing the story, but I will make it up to you with "The Flagbearer". I hope to see you all there. Until next time-hopefully not as long as the last time lol.
