I'm Willing to Let Him In

After the events of last week, it was safe to say, the SmackDown locker room was on edge. Also, with the teasing of a reunion between the former SmackDown Tag Team Champions, Miz and Morrison, the Friday Night Delight had a bone to pick with Big E. The 6-time Tag Team Champion still fumed over not having an opportunity to be on the Survivor Series team. So, to kick off SmackDown, it would be 2 former SmackDown Tag Team Champions squaring off for a spot on the SmackDown Men's Survivor Series team or so they thought...

The 2 men were ambushed in the middle of the ring before a stampede of Superstars came storming down to the ring, led by the Archangel, fuming as the masked men and women who identify themselves as RETRIBUTION escaped. The Archangel was infuriated as Miz tended to John Morrison and the rest of the SmackDown locker room taunted the masked individuals to come back and face them while others helped Big E

Slamming his hands on the announcer's desk, the Herald from High seethed through his raging teeth before kicking the steel steps and everybody headed backstage, Superstars surrounding the two men as King Corbin attempted to assert control over the situation and Sheamus with a rally on the issue, both men still displeased that they were not on the Survivor Series team

Sheamus: And what about our leader, huh? What the hell were you doing, fella?

The Archangel stood with his arms folded, faced scrunched up and head bowed as he stood against the white brick wall

Corbin: Yea! If the pressure of leadership is too much for you, the King is more than happy to assume the role!

Archangel: Shut up, Corbin. There was a chance the person I was going to ask would say "Yes"... but I think what we need at Survivor Series... must be someone else, perhaps... something else...

Licking his lips, the Archangel slapped his hand on Big E and told him to get better soon before turning on his heels and walking out the door, seeing Adam Pearce in the hallway

Archangel: Pearce!

Adam: What can I do for you, Mr Archangel?

Archangel: Tell Ms Bliss she'll have to postpone her Moment of Bliss for later in the night. There's something I need to do first before I join her!

The Celestial Superstar walked off, stopping in his tracks as Pearce called out to him

Adam: And what might that be, exactly?

Archangel: You don't want to know. And if I were you, I'd get on my hands and knees, and start praying that I'm doing is a good idea

Walking out, the Archangel was seen getting in a car and driving out of the arena as SmackDown Superstars looked on, unsure of what he had in mind

Driving off, the Australian Superstar dialled up Alexa

Alexa: What are you doing?

Wesley: I'm thinking on a Moment of Bliss later, let's wing it!

Alexa: Okay, but why did you leave the arena?

Wesley: You're having a tea party right with the Mad Hatter, ain't ya?

Alexa: Yes?

Wesley: So, I'll grab some flowers along the way. Perfect for any tea party!

Alexa: You had to leave the arena for that?

Wesley: You'll see what I left for later. Can you pass the phone to Bray, please?

Alexa: Bray? Why?
