Sheer clear lip gloss glistened in the rays of the moon, random arrangements of words printed across their white shirt, outlined in pink fluffy fur with matching overalls. Thick eyeliner and highlighter made them all the more noticeable as they applied mascara to their long eyelashes.
Their small petite hands rummaged through their perfectly neat earring drawer, specifically looking for a piece of jewelry, unaware of Youngjae's presence outside of their window. He had been watching them prepare for their date with Jaebeom. Since the last time he's seen them, he has gathered enough information to know their address, name, and even collected a phone number. By now the sun hid behind the clouds along with the moon, waiting for it's arrival. The grey sky left a sad tint on everything below, keeping Youngjae well hidden in the bushes before he arose to his feet. His hand twitched at the sight of them, it should be him dolling himself up for Jaebeom, not them. Every aspect of his being was his and his alone, he couldn't allow this.. Right? That'd make him a bad lover, and he could not allow that, not ever. <3
Had he made up his mind on what exactly he was going to do with Jaebeom's little toy? He had to be smart about this if he wanted this to go smoothly, he's just going to scare them off, that's all- no harm can be done with confrontation, right? A plan came to mind, a simple one at that but there was no need for this to get messy, not yet.
He leaned up against the tree right outside of their home, his hands stuffed into his pockets as he waited for them to leave out. Speaking of the devil;
"Youngjae? What're you doing here, it's pretty late don't ya think?" they spoke direct and sharp, turning their back for a second to lock the house up before facing back to him.
"Yeah well, Jaebeom sent me to walk you to the park where he planned to meet you since I've been there pretty frequently, plus he's running a little late so I'll be accompanying you. You look amazing by the way." If Youngjae was good at one thing, it'd be lying through his teeth.
"That's a little odd of him s'if I'm being honest, but when isn't he being a little wonky? Thank you by the way, this is really sweet of you, can't believe that dork is going to be late on our first date." The uncertainty in their voice melted off into adoration as they began to to go on and on about their relationship with Jae. Nothing of interest to Youngjae, he knows Jaebeom like the back of his hand, and hearing them talk as if they love him like he does.. made him grit his teeth.
It wasn't long before they walked passed the pond right outside of the park, somehow Youngjae finally got them to shut up by changing the subject before he said something rude and snarky.
"Look! A flower pond, isn't it pretty? It always especially looks gorgeous around this time of year, with the flowers in bloom and everything. Looks pretty enough to take amazing pictures, sure is deep enough to swim in." Youngjae trailed off, pretending to actually seem interested in this conversation. He glanced over at them for a second to see them squatting down besides the water, most likely to look at the fish that frantically swam around through the heaps of lily pads.
"That sounds nice and all but I can't exactly swim, never knew how and never bothered to learn. You know Jaebeom tried teaching me how to swim once, we had our first kiss that day.. I can't help but adore him, he's my everything and I can tell he loves me a lot." Youngjae could see the clear blush flourishing across their cheeks, making his blood run cold.
"You're never going to last. You are the last thing he needs in his life, you're just an obvious distraction from his last relationship." Youngjae spit out, his smile spreading at the sound of their gasp of pure shock. "Me and Jaebeom used to be so close y'know, until you came into the picture. You took him away from me, no one loves him like I do."
With every step he took, they scooted away.
"No one deserves him more than me, wouldn't you agree?" He spoke so calmly as he knelt down to look at them directly. "You don't love him like I do." their eyes met with a chill running down their spine at the hearts in his eyes and blissed out expressions across his face.
With only one more small movement closer to them, they seemed to have stumbled and fell back into the water. Youngjae was taken back by the splash and quickly jumped to his feet, dusting off his pants as he saw them struggling to keep their head above the water. Their cries for help muffed by the water until eventually all movement came to a stop. He knelt back down to the water, seeing their lifeless body sway with the flowers, his sadistic grin filling his features.
"You're mine and mine alone." <3
