Hello! So I am more than aware that some of us have trouble shifting, either your having doubts, can't fall asleep, need alternatives, I got you! Below are some things I do every night to help me reality shift, keep in mind- these work for me but everybody is different and may not respond like others do so take some time to figure out what works best for you!
THINGS TO DO:
-Take a shower or hot bath before you want to reality shift
-Drink lots of water through out the day
-Occasionally imagine your in you're DR during the day
-Drink tea or warm milk (I like a mix of both!)
-Put the sheets or blankets you sleep with in the dryer before you try to shift, being surrounded by warmth helps many people fall asleep and I use this to fall asleep even on nights I don't plan to shift!
-Have an open mind! I know reality shifting seems to good to be true but I promise it's real, so think happy thoughts, maybe say a few affirmations through out the day, you CAN go home!
-Play a subliminal or two! You can listen to them even when you're not in the motion of shifting to help ease your mind, so listen to one while your studying or maybe in the shower, it's up to you
THINGS TO AVOID:
-Taking medication to force shifting, please never take any medication without a doctor/parents permission for the sole purpose of shifting. If you have troubles sleeping in general like me, you can try melatonin in small doses, make sure to be safe though!
-If and when you have shifted, I would recommend not telling the people in your DR that you have shifted to their reality, this might lead them to believe they were created just for you and feel meaningless.
-Hurting somebody in your DR's feelings, killing people, physically hurting them, and being mean. Remember that these are real people you are affecting and I know how hard it is to not curb stomp Mineta but we have to try.
-Eat right before shifting, I find that if I eat before shifting my mouth waters afterwards and that leads to me taking a gulp of saliva while trying to shift and that's never helpful as it can take your focus off what's going on in your mind
-Don't watch a scary movie before shifting, if you do not believe that you will accidentally shift to this movie then you wont but I personally can't watch horror movies before shifting or bed because then that's all I think about so just be aware!
-Do not feel bad about not being able to shift, you will eventually get there, it's most likely just you, it takes everyone a different amount of time so don't worry.
I will be adding to this if and when I remember/think of something that was not yet added, hope this helps, make sure to keep reading later on as I will be adding chapters about every day. Happy shifting everyone! (Don't be afraid to ask questions)
