Chapter 3 - And For the first time in Forever ..

It was 4 o'clock in the afternoon, We were walking home from Brian's place. We were really glad that he'll come.

We're walking down the streets and saw people in the neighborhood. They were busy doing something and children were playing. Our place is nice and different because everyone cares for each other. Everyone is kind, helpful and considerate to their neighbors. We knew every family in our community because it is small. My family is kinda popular in our place because my father used to be an MVP in college. :)

" We did good, Praise! He will come. I thought we wont make it. Thanks to your courage." Arriane said while showing me her big smile.

" Yes, we really did make it. Do you have a gift for her? "

" No, I'll buy tomorrow after class. How about you? "

" I dont have also. I'll buy tomorrow."

I was still thinking about the guy I saw in the basketball court. I was doubting If I could tell Arriane about it. I didnt want her to be teasing me.

It was the first time that I had that kind of feeling when I saw him. I have seen many cute guys in my life but it was only him that gave me that feeling. I dont want to call it love at first sight. I dont know what to call it. I couldnt get him off my mind. I didnt know what to do. Is it love, like or just attraction?

I decided to tell Arriane about it. I hope she can help me.

" Arriane, have you seen the last guy who came in earlier? "

" Yes, why? Do you know him? "

"No. Its just that he made me feel something. " i said. I was nervous of telling her the truth.

" And what is that? Did he say something? We havent talked to him. Did he scares you? "

" No, he did not. "
" I just have this weird feeling. I think I like him."

There I said it.

" WHAAAATT?? Gosh! What did you say? Did I hear it right? Yo.. you .. you like him? " she said in a LOUD VOICE. She was surprised but what I said. I, too, I didnt believe myself.

" Ha ha ha ha. I think Im gonna die..
Im gonna die. Have you eaten something? Or do you have a fever?
What did he do to you?!! " she said.

" I have to call Louise. She should know this. You know Praise, this could be a headline on the news if they knew this. It's the first time you ever said this. He must be superman to make you fall for him. Ha ha ha" she told me.

I thought that she was right, he must be really something to made me feel this way.

" We should be celebrating your livelife, and not Louise birthday. Ha ha ha. Whats the date today? "

" January 24." I told her.

" Then, we'll mark this day as the birth of your lovelife. You're a true woman now. At the age of 20, you have your first crush. We should meet that guy." Arriane.

" Is this real? Maybe Im just hungry that Im feeling this way. Let just keep it a secret." I told her.

" Its okay Praise, you're old enough to feel that. I wonder whats his name. Does Brian know him? Are they close? We should ask him." Arriane.

I also wonder whats his name. For his good looks, he must have a nice name. It could be Prince, Zach, Alexander, or Charles. These are the names that I could think of. I imagined his face, body, things he held and clothes again.

" Calvin Klein " i exclaimed.

Yes, it is what he wore that time. His Calvin Klein u.w. :D

" What Calvin Klein? He's Calvin Klein? That is a brand name.
Well, for a good looking guy like him, It suits him. He can be a model of it. "

I could call him that for now. I can use it as his codename. I have to ask Brian for his name in Louise birthday. Calvin Klein. Mr. Calvin Klein. Perfect.

" Thats a good name. We can call him that. Calvin Klein. We have to find him. Its operation Finding Mr. Calvin Klein." arriane

" Finding Mr. Calvin Klein? That's crazy. He is easy to find, Arriane. He lives here." I laughed.

After our 'oh so good conversation', we reached our house.

" Bye, Arriane. See you tomorrow. Dont tell anyone about it except Louise and Kate. It would be embarrasing if they knew."

" Okay, thanks for the company. I enjoyed our day. :) Dont think of him too much. Ha ha. " Arriane.

I bid goodbye to her. I was in front of our door and suddenly I smile by remembering his face.

I entered the house and saw my mom. Dad and Sean was still not home. My mom was watching tv.

" Oh, Praise. You're here. Take a rest. If you're hungry, just eat. i've prepared food for you. "

" Thanks mom. I'll just take a nap. I'll eat it later. "

I went to my room and lie down. I thought of him again. He didnt leave in my mind. I remembered his face. His eyes staring back at me.

I got up and looked my self in the mirror.
" Im grown up now. Its not bad to feel this way."

I told myself.

I looked at my face. Im beautiful. Im sure of that. My mom tells me that always. I laughed at declaring it.

When I was in high school, some guys liked me. I just didnt give them a chance because I dont feel anything for them. I wanted them to be my friend only. My mother didnt want me to have a boyfriend also. She said that Im still young and theres a perfect time for it. I thought that if I like someone, he will like me also because Im the long lost sister of Megan Fox. ( Ha ha ha. Joke)

I took a nap for half hour. I woke up, ate dinner and did my homeworks. I was thankful that our feasibility study is done. I was not very busy in my last semester.

Before I slept that night, I prayed to God.

Lord, thank you giving me another day. Thanks for loving us. You're so great for giving me a loving family and friends. Thanks for the good health and all the blessings that Youre giving us. Help me with my studies and protect my family.
Lord, i know this sound crazy but I think I like someone. I just met him earlier. I pray, Lord that he's the right man for me and I wont get hurt because of him. This is my first time to like a guy. Lord, forgive me if I did something wrong today. Bless us. I love you Lord. In Jesus name, Amen.

Tomorrow will be Louise birthday. Im excited. Before I slept, I wrote a note and posted it on my wall.

A special day for me!! :) My heart beats to a man for the first time. Im hoping to see you again, Mr. CK . <3
